Buffalo only up 9 at the half. Watt called for a T for hanging on the rim got AU some momentum when they were down by 19.

Just got back home from the Beefs game.  OUbobcat9092 and I were the two guys sitting directly behind the Buffalo bench sporting Ohio Ts.  Not hard to spot us since we were the only people behind the bench in the first half.   Buffalo would do well in the Patriot League.

Heard Abreu didn't take the loss well.

what happened? he showed he can miss a 3 better than he can miss a free throw. \

Strange it came down to the need to miss another FT to stay in that one

How many is the CIT down to?  I love Buffalo's chances to take it all.

16.  They have a tough matchup at Oakland next.  Their suspect guard defense may play a factor.

I like the tournaments as a chance to get extra practice time. I honestly do. But I  hope a CIT or CBI championship banner isn't something any team ever considers hoisting up into the rafters.

Would you hang an NIT banner?

I think Northeastern has a CBI banner.

Yes. Most arenas have NIT banners hanging because of how important the tournament used to be. It'd be weird not continuing that in my mind.

Still bigger accomplishment to be the last one in to the CIT than to make a bowl game at 6-6.

In case you missed it, Buffalo fell by 8 to our former foe Oakland.  It is really unfortunate that both Akron and Buffalo had to go on the road for their postseason because I think they were 2 of the more talented teams in their respective tournaments.  But regardless, we are the only MAC team left playing.
