So let me see if I understood this all correctly:
A. I should now show up to the O Zone in business professional attire.
B. Speak as though I'm interviewing for a job.
C. Be prepared to brawl with some alums who I've quite possibly met.
D. Make sure my creativity rivals that of Shakespeare when insulting opposing teams and fans.
For the record, I don't stand down in the area bobcat695 referenced, and I would strongly agree that there are certain characters who are
quite annoying to most students, not just alumni. However, I do stand a couple rows back and along with some friends I yell some things I wouldn't want children hearing.
That is precisely what I warned about with these new Bobcat Black seats... You hear things down there you don't hear sitting across the court. Guess what? The players hear it too... That is what makes the O Zone the O Zone... The one liners some people yell get into players heads... If you have the marketing interns trying to corral the O Zone, the O Zone is either going to laugh it off and get even rowdier or simply leave the game and watch it online (or not at all). GET OFF MY LAWN syndrome from both sides.....
(For clarifications sake, the A-Hole chant has been around for a couple years... The difference this year is that you have 1/2 the student section yelling it instead of 1 kid.)
