Colin will do really well there. He gets back to the South and it's a league he may have some more success in. I still wish he could have stuck with us. I thought he gave us some pretty good minutes in a jam his freshman year and then he completely got passed over by Ezuma and Clayton.

On a sidenote, it's bittersweet to lose so many guys but hey, at least four of them are going to D-1 programs. I remember we had a run there with Saul where NONE of his transfers went to D-1 programs. Now we've got four with BVP, Sears and Towns along with Colin. So at least we know the talent is being recruited! :)

Actually, the SoCon has been better than the MAC the last couple of years, so Colin is taking a step up.

And BVP and Sears didn't just transfer to another D1, they transferred to P5 schools.

WCU has had a winning record once in the last 7 years.

If he was going to the Chattanooga Mocs (20 time SoCon champs) or Furman (20+ wins 5 of the last 6 years), it would be a step up.

I was just referring to the conferences. Hopefully, the MAC makes a big comeback and this will no longer be the case.

There's a rumor on Reddit that Emoni Bates visited EMU today.

Saw that. I mean, Charlie Batch did make the $1 million offer to Caleb Williams to transfer to EMU.

Edit: Somehow forgot to add Miamis two newest transfers, so that has been corrected

Some rumors have Emoni Bates, a 6-9 5-star out of Ypsilanti and Memphis, heading back home to EMU. A long shot, but . . .
Interesting (2 months later). . .

Hopefully they schedule them against us in the Convo. Oh the dirt will be amazing!

EMU already has 4-star PG Noah Farahkan, an NBA prospect. They got a pair of 3-star transfers earlier this spring, from Providence and Georgetown. Now Bates. And potentially another NBA big prospect still to come. Might be a one-year thing for Stan Heath in Ypsilanti or it might be a sign of a resurgence for the Hurons/Eagles to their glory days of the 1990s.

Has anyone heard where Tenerowicz went after entering the portal? I know he returned to Ohio last year. You'd have to think that since he graduated and was a walk-on that he might not be enrolled anywhere if there is no interest from a lower division school.

My prediction is that he will not play college hoops again, simply no spot for him on our roster and I highly doubt he would play for a lower division school. But who knows.

Anybody else enjoy seeing a player from the other team light it up against Toledo?  Always feels like UT can't miss when we play there!

But, EMU still lost the game. Their record is horrible. I think they've one like one MAC game -- against CMU.

Saw Luke Frazier dropped 30 some the other day. Really playing well for John Carroll. Leading them in scoring with 17ppg.
