Yes, I'm sure that me (and a few others) not rooting for Akron was the reason they lost, thereby dragging down the RPI of the conference.

Abreu is VERY SENSITIVE to things like that.

Akron up 3 against UNC-Ashville at the half.  Shot 50% from 3 (5-10) in the first half.  Waterford native DJ Cunningham 1-7 for the Bulldogs.

Yeah, he's going to be thorn in our side for four years.

Treadwell and Harney back today for the Zips.

Akron looks to be as good as ever. We'll certainly have our hands full. However, I think us at our best is better than 'Kron at their best. We are the more complete team, and, IMO, better coached too.

I root for 100% of the MAC schools in 100% of their non-conference games.

Agreed. But, with Fiami and 'Kron, it gets pretty tough! Got to admit I'm never sad to see those two lose.

Completely with you on that. It can only help us in the end. There's no reason to root against any of them, no matter how fun it might be to watch them lose!

And against Akron 100% of the time they play in conference.

I won't do it. Even if there's a fire.

The Oklahoma State team that Akron took to overtime just beat the #6 team in the country by 20 points.
