I could have been given bad info, but I was told yesterday that grades are due for release next Tues/Wed. Since I'm not anticipating his grades being a problem, that leads me to believe he'll be eligible to play for Winthrop on the 15th.
As for being a savior, I'd just welcome another guy in the post who plays the way John Smith does and doesn't consider himself a newly added contributor to the guard rotation. Oh, and is willing to try to draw a little contact and get to the foul line.

I think you were given bad information. Next week is finals week, so grades will be released the following week (most likely Tuesday, Dec. 18). I think the first time he'll be able to see action is the UMass game on the 19th.
crap, thought this was finals week. Damn semesters

I have yet to see the positives of semesters.

If we had a real semester system, rather than this dumbed down "fake" semester system, students would be here until a few days before Christmas and come back the first week in January.  Real semesters are 16 weeks, not 14.  This is a real scam being perpetuated by many schools these days to provide students with less instruction, charge more and generally rip folks off.  The idea that adding a few extra minutes to class periods is the same as two extra actual weeks of classes or exams is absurd.

It was fun having St. Patrick's Day when students were on campus.......scary....but fun....one guy even told me that  was one reason they switched so the university and Athens could dodge some of the mayhem and destruction.

Saw Green a little here at Missouri last year.  I'd agree that I wouldn't place any huge expectations on him right out of the gate. He was still pretty raw.

But there's no question he has the athletic potential to be very good.

I agree. The jury is still out on him. Some kids with great potential because of their size and athleticism take the next step forward and some don't. John Devereaux did big time; Johnny 'what's his name' from BC didn't.

I'll be curious how he and Tyquane Goard pan out as they both have lots of upside. Goard was raw last year too.

I'm betting OHIO may have gotten the best of it. Kadeem saw the court about 10 minutes/game as a true freshman for a national power, probably more time than Goard. We'll see.

Actually, I thought he was at Marshall via Delaware but he's not listed. (that's why I said I thought OHIO got the best of it) .

Anyone know where he is?

He did transfer to Marshall:

Of course, he cannot play this season, but he is not listed on their roster at this time for some reason.

I could be wrong, but I was under the impression that he had to sit out a whole calendar year before playing. So he'd be eligible right away in 2013.
