Judging on how our season and their season has gone, this is a game I hope we can win by at least 10.
The way we've played lately I'm just hoping we can make it a close/fun game. I don't expect a
victory.
I am not sure we deserved that but I was alos not sure about what we would see today. When I walked in to watch the guys warm up today someone asked waht I thought ....I said. " I think we got a pretty good shot but I would love to see us kick their Arse. I really do not like these guys, to win by at least 20 feels right" That worked out pretty well. FOr the lst 3 years I have watched their punk thug wannabes come out and warm up lackadasically and without purpose or intention. They have great athletes and good talent. They have no character and lack mental focus.
I am happy we got back on track and hope this brings the intangible bond back in the locker room. Been a lot of fingre pointing but sometimes it just takes a performance like this to remember what it actually takes to win. A good week of practice, great cameraderie and things could fall into place.
On the other side of the ball, the
Terd fans are not happy. Serves them right, there were a large bunch of them in front me in the lower bowl that save for the first few possessions sat on their hands the entire game. I was a bit irritated by the Terds who stood on the concourse the entire game. I asked them if they needed help finding their seats ....you all know how that went over.......trying hard to be nice to folks who probably do not take the time to shut the outhouse door. There were more there than I remember from previous games. Was nice to wish them a safe drive home.
