There's a reason why you haven't seen all that much of him.  Don't expect to see that much of him in the future.

I did not see the game tonight - but up to now it looks to me like he "overplays" when in. Maybe trying to hard to get more PT. I think maybe he needs to just settle down and focus, buy into to his role this year.

I like Kadeem's potential, he has some nice shots under the basket. Got to remember, he's just a sophomore and he sat out a whole year, lots of rust, and lots of room to grow. Remember how long it took Walt and Armon to get up to 100% after sitting out a year and they were much further along in their development. Let's see how he looks in March.

I was checking out the OU stats on the school website. I don't know if anyone realizes this but Kadeem is 13 of 18 from the field in six games and is averaging 4.8 points per game. And it hasn't just been in garbage time. I love how people can criticize a guy who has played in just six games over the last two years and has played in his sixth as a Cat. He's going to be a good one and will team nicely with Ndour, Mompremier and Campbell next year along with Jon.

I agree with perimeter post ... Kadeem needs more time. He's rusty and he's trying to earn PT on a squad that has been together for a long time. He needs more PT to get in the groove with the other players. I hope he starts getting a few more minutes each game, and not just in garbage time, because there are going to be times in the season when we really need him.

It's been fun to watch this team the past two games, but I do have a question/concern: What has happened to Walt's jumper?  He used to be dependable from 12  to 16 feet.  His form seems erratic and there's no rotation on the ball.

Count me OUT of the "Let's Throw Kadeem" under the bus club. I think the kid has potential and for all the bitching and moaning about our lack of an inside game, Kadeem definitely has a knack for taking the inside shot and getting fouled in the process if need be.

Think he needs a lot of work with his footwork and I'm sure the staff is diligently working with him on all aspects of his game. Is he game ready for primetime at this point - NO. But I do think he will be a significant contributor as his career develops.

Yea, last night was not pretty. Christian tried to get him much needed minutes. Kadeem will learn from the process. Thinking back it took KVK and even DeVaughn a while before it clicked. Hopefully Kadeem will put in the work necessary to be a contributor as well.

No one was more brutal on Kadeem last night than Russ and Rob.

I had so many games going I forgot to turn them on. May have to go back and listen to the on demand ....but then again...that would be 2 hours of my life I do not really want to give up as I have a bunch of irons in the fire before heading across the water to watch the kid play. Summary?

kadeem will be fine. he does have a nice quick release jump hook and hustles to get to the floor showing the desire. Still does not have the polish on the high hedge that JG instilled in KVK and Devo et al. That is technique nad someone needs to break that out execution wise. Nice nose for the ball which we need for rebounding and has shown some nice 8-12 ft range on his shots in additon to the inside moves going left shoulder. I like him and saw him retreating with great huslte and hands high preventing the opposite big rim runs

SPeaking of hands high...I did notice immediately after switching over to the Illini game that we have lost that hands high, widebased stutter step, hustle to the ball close out we did so well the last 3 years. It is still there inconsistently with walt and Nick K but not every possession with desire and intensity.  It showed up in Champaign and you could hear the familiar squeak of shoes on the close outs.....Not sure if that is a conscious change or just an oversight.....but it is a difference and may account for some of our decreased 3 pt FG defense and likely the improvement in Weber's recruits on the Defensive end.
