Four or five years have passed and we've seen none of this except the nice banners/graphics at Peden.

And now we have only paper cup option, and don't have "split the pot"................

I don't understand why we don't have better program offer. Put together a nice, full of history/stats program, and insert the game day flyer we produce now. Only the new game day insert needs produced and copied each game. Sell the same 'flyer" we do now for $1, and offer the full program w/the flyer for $10 to $20. Is this just too..........."Well, Duh"?

It's a flat out money loser.

Only if you fail to sell sufficient ad space.

Programs are a thing of the past!  Nearly every college basketball and football program is transitioning to online media guides and programs because the print version is a money loser.  He takes a ton of human resources to put the stuff together and it loses money on sales and advertising revenue.  The "Well, Duh" part is not doing programs because the time and money it destroys in an athletic department with limited man power and limited budgets.

Well, apparently not a loser for bigger schools, or they just like throwing money away. I have a stack of 'em from away venues visited last 10 years or so - football and basketball. Maybe so for lowly MAC, or schools that can only draw 7K+ to BBall games and 20K+ to FBall games.

Found this nifty guide that has plans for the 2.6 billion dollar campus renovation, expansion, construction, etc...

http://www.ohio.edu/facultysenate/upload/capital_plan_boo...

In it, it says the school year of 2017-2018 the Convocation Center will get "structural and envelope repair". To me that sounds like they are making the outside look nice and fixing the roof.

For 18.7 Large I would think some pretty substantial improvements planned. Maybe "envelope" also includes outer concourse - HOF, concessions, rest rooms, etc. "Structural" could possibly include insertion of suites area - maybe ability to install a Hanging Scoreboard????
