MAC Offices deny Akron ever requested to switch to a road game and Akron AD says it was mentioned but never given serious consideration. So basically, Dambrot is talking out of his rear end to try to make his team look like they aint skeered. I can't wait till 2/27.

No kidding especially since we get a return matchup from a perennially good team.   This was best-case scenario.

I was looking up what Belmont's Curb Events Center looked like.  Here's a little tidbit I just discovered that I thought was neat that they did last year for the tournament:

This is what I was thinking all along...They were never serious about it.

Can't believe we got the Belmont draw...It is almost like they are saying sorry for last year.  Considering our at-large chances are basically shot, I like the idea of a tough and extremely losable game.  If we beat Belmont and Akron in a 4 day stretch, we'd be riding high into March.

Did anybody notice that the year the CAA drops out of bracketbuster, their conf has gone to sh*t, due in part to the loss of VCU.  They used to have two or three top 60 RPIs, but this year their best RPI is George Mason at 119.  VCU is feeling the move to the A10 -- they're only at 51.

Did anyone notice the article in SI about VCU's "HAVOC" approach to defense.

That is the way to go.
