This is definitely a trap game, especially with the travel complications.

Wow...Chips video stream is nice...actually looks like a broadcast vs a webcam being toggled back and forth.

I guess all CMU's students must be watching this webcast instead of going to the game then?

Stop Kyle Randall and you've beaten the Chips.

It's safe to say we haven't done this too well in the first half.

Cats take another 82-63.  This game was really ugly for the first half and first part of the second, but we rebounded nicely from the slow start and took control.  Way to go Cats!

Loved the "Get Loud" video they ran at the under 4 with CMU down by 14.  Not only would the 30 people left in the stands not be able to get loud, but it was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too late in the game for that.  Notice how the crowd cleared out after the free pizzas were gone.

I'm impressed by the sportsmanship of CMU.  It seemed to me that they played hard throughout the game, but they didn't draw out the last 4 minutes to 40 minutes by fouling on every possession.  And they shook hands at the end of the game unlike whatever team it was we played over last weekend.

Their webcast was top notch and their gym looked pretty nice.

It's a shame they don't have more fans in the stands.  I loved the shot of the "CMU Rowdy" stoichly pointing at the camera for ~10 seconds during intermission.

being optimistic: A 19 point win on the road.
A NCAA voter: A game against a one man team with a sloppy first half.

It's a shame indeed.  After the renovation, the Arena formerly known as "Rose" looks to be a nice facility.  I mean honestly, what else is going on in Mt. Pleasant on a Wednesday night that's a bigger bang for your buck?  They're at least an entertaining team to watch.  And I'd guess that they'll be getting better in years to come.

The passing looked crisp last night.  I think I even saw a give and go.  They must show that they can keep their composure and play this  kind of smart basketball when the going gets rough. I went to the Illinois website and their is a picture of Groce with that pissed off look, boy do I miss that.

Interesting stretch coming up, time to see if we can take it up a notch.
