No. A chant by the fans will not undervalue a win smh
As an athlete, I always want to beat the highest rated opponent possible and as a fan I feel the same. Which is why I never understood a fan base making an opponent seem to be of lesser quality. Which is why I've never been a fan of the standard "over-rated" chant. I would be more impressed if Ohio defeated the 24th-ranked team in the country than one that is over-rated and might be the 30th-best or 42nd-best team. This is just one person's opinion and I'm sure I'll hear this chant coming from the O-Zone Wednesday night.
While we're at it, please help this texting/twittering illiterate with "smh". I saw it in another thread today and I've tried all possible combinations (well, not all) of these three letters w/o any success. Hey, at least I know the shorthand "w/o".
