Correction. I think they changed the feed here, it doesnt seem to have all the retarded replays after every bucket. This must be the TWC feed.

The feed from mac-sports.com is fixed now too. Someone at UB must have switched the online feed from the video board to the single camera at midcourt.

this game should be over in our favor.  weren't we up 9 about 2 seconds ago?

regardless of outcome (looks like we will lose right now with 3 min left) there were some positives and the game matters little.  


Full court D is a VERY good thing.  Need to keep it up but rotate the bench in more.
Ivo looked better.
Jon smith had a solid game.  Very active.
Walt never stops hustling. 
DJ is incredible.
Rebounding remains godawful.

Couldn't stand the video feed, even after they "fixed" it.  What a Godawful production.

Anyway, it was great that we toughed out a win. Fabulous that DJ hit all the milestones and good to see Ivo get off the schneid.  Hope this is a sign of better things to come.

Hoping they get out of Buffalo before the snow hits (it's just west of Cleveland now).

On the run that got us caught up in the first half:  Stevie and Wilk in, Ivo attacked the rim at least once.

DJ not winning MAC POY would call for investigation by FBI, CIA, 60 Minutes, Public Oversight Board of Accountancy, etc, etc., etc.

We had over 5,000 students at the Akron game. I would like to know how that compares to THE NATION. We had a great amount of ozoners this year. I just hope we can enforce the wearing of shirts next year...

UB's student section is a joke, possibly the douchiest in the MAC*, **. That being said, this was by far the biggest crowd I've ever seen at a UB basketball game (I've been to about 5-6 OHIO/UB games) at their house. The crowd (which I would estimate at 2500ish given the capacity of the place) was at least DOUBLE the next largest crowd I've ever seen there.

*Thats just my experience, I haven't seen the Akron or Kent fan bases in person. By and large Buffalo's residents are nice, but the downstate influence on the student body (i.e. all the people from The City, Long Island, and environs) really drags their student section down
** For Fiami's student section to be in the running for douchiest in the mac, there would need to be people in it.

Tough break for travel. Word is that the team is stuck in Buffalo until the morning. They escaped with the win, but not the storm.

I have been saying that for years. WHat kind of fans spend the time while they are introducing their seniors trash talking the opposing players who are quietly sitting and clapping for YOUR own seniors? What kind of fans are hooting and hollering at the opposing players during the Anthem when it is Military night honoring soldiers and sailors in the house?

They may turn out and be rowdy but they are uncouth, abusiive and boorish.

Glad you reported. THat is the same experience I had.
