Ball State comes back to win. They get the #5 and the bye. Buffalo down to #8 and on Akron's side of the bracket.

I think we got the easiest side by a landslide. I don't want to be to cocky, but the toughest opponent on our side is Western Michigan. So glad Buffalo or Kent state will face Akron.

If the MAC Office would've asked me to write out my favorite bracket and they'd use it, this would be exactly what I would give them (other than making Kent or Akron a 10 or 11 seed).  Now we got to do our work and play the games.  First fear, most of us (including myself) have Friday night envisioned as a slam dunk--I hope the players aren't looking ahead like some fans are and we get shocked looking one game ahead.

Yes, we appear to have the easy bracket.  So, if we win this ouVan will argue that we're not really the best team in the MAC.

My biggest concern is coming out slow in the semifinal after having not played a game in six days. You sometimes see that when a team is playing their first game against a squad that already has a tournament win or two under their belts. Even Gonzaga struggled in the first half of their WCC semifinal against a Loyola Marymount team who went 1-15 in the conference.

As everyone else pointed out, this is the best possible draw for us. At worst, we'll be playing a WMU team who ended the season losing two of their last three and really struggled against CMU yesterday.
