Gettin' psyched, even if this game is more of a chance to highlight our strengths/turn our intensity up to 11 for the remainder of the season. I even just convinced a girl (NOT an OHIO grad) that watching the game during our date saturday night is a great compliment to the already-planned growlers.

+1 to this guys Mancard.

Thanks!

The winner of this game receives the LOI from Evan Bradds.  Right?

Dang it, that one (the incorrect use of an apostrophe instead of just an "s") is on me

Sorry to trod on your ignorance  - if I had any idea how sensitive that part of your body was I would have never of mentioned it.

I hope we walk out of the Curb tonight shouting with joy and skipping past that underdog thing.
Anyone on here going to the game?

We bought tickets through OU then I saw the Nashville paper saying tickets were on sale for $5 through Belmont... It's "Crash the Curb"... we're bringing our green to stand out in the sea of red tonight!

GO BOBCATS!!

Belmont is very good offensively. The Bruins shoot a very high percentage, including from 3-point range. Only six teams in the country have made more 3s. Basically all of their guys can shoot. Their true and effective field goal percentages rank fourth in the country. They don't shoot a lot of free throws and are a below-average rebounding team on both ends. Also a pretty good defensive team. Hold teams to 40.5 percent shooting and force a lot of turnovers, but they do put the other team at the foul line a lot. Starters are 6-7, 6-7, 6-6, 6-3 and 6-1. Main bench guys are 6-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-1, so they don't have great size. Sounds kind of familiar.

Is it game-time yet???!!  I feel like I've been waiting on this game for years.  I think I'm extra excited because I'll be watching the game in high definition on TV rather than our janky webcast.

Go Bobcats!

Should be an uptempo game.  Two very similar teams.  Probably comes down to who shoots the 3 better.  I like Coop's chances at 10+ dimes in this one.

I think the winning team gets 80+.   I hope that team is Ohio!  Go Cats

Wow, we are gonna get embarrassed at this pace. We look like we took 5 guys outta the stands and threw them on the court. Totally disorganized and for some odd reason we look flustered and confused. Not sure why. This reminds me of the Winthrop game, the way we are playing.

Right now we look like somebody threw a kegger in their hotel room last night and the entire team stayed up all night...need to pick it up in a hurry otherwise I'd start looking toward the Akron game.  Their perimeter defense on DJ has been great.  We really need Walt to get that mentality of putting his head down and getting to the rim no matter what.  Go Bobcats!

Maybe we should just concede that this team is not that good! We can beat low to average, not much else.

I've tried to be optimistic this year but this game is as frustrating as it gets. This is the type of game that Groce had us ready for. This is the type of atmosphere where these guys would excel. Coach Christian has not won a single important game with this team. Yes we have 20 wins. Yes we are still a team to be reckoned with but I don't feel like this is the same team as last year and that's on the coach. Ivo looks like a shell of himself. Walt is hesitant. Nick is slowly losing my confidence. What the heck is wrong here? I think it boils down to intensity and JG had it, JC doesn't.

This team is just so night and day it's unreal at times. When they show up, they are unstoppable, when they don't they look like tonight.

that's the ugliest half of basketball I've seen us play all season...really disappointing.  But ultimately this doesn't mean much.  The Akron game Wednesday is far more important than this game.  So if we don't make an early run to get back in this, our starters absolutely have to come out to get some rest and prevent any injury.

Here's to hoping we have a comeback in us...go CATS!

I think we were 9th in the nation in 3 point defense when we entered the ncaa tournament last year. Now we look horrific, and we don't get back on D very well either!

I understand that the Akron game is the big one but right now, I feel like we're going to get embarrased on Wednesday. I shouldn't feel like that right now. I should feel confident but it looks like the Zips are playing their best ball. They actually resemble our team from last year. Point guard making plays, big man playing tough inside, outside shooters performing their roles, glue guy like Harney stepping up. I hate to say it but Kron and Dambrot are rolling.

Looks like 6 on 5...every guy with the ball is doubled at one end and one player is wide open at the other!
