Marshall is not very good this season but there were stretches against YSU where the Bobcats wouldn't beat the blind school playing like that.

I hated this tipoff time when I first noticed it. I hate even more now that the Columbus Crew advanced to this Saturday's MLS Cup championship game kicking off at 4. For Bobcat fans that are not soccer fans, at least it's a better excuse than missing a game in the Convo because of a Pink Floyd cover band.

Soccer isn't even a real sport, but this statement is still true. Then again, biddy basketball is this weekend no? We might be screwed.

So, are you saying there's no need for me to call the Ohio athletic department requesting they reschedule Saturday's tipoff?

Didn't get tickets. Heard they sold out damn near immediately. I logged on at like 10:04 and I was in 9,000th in line lol but I plan to stand outside. Should be a fairly nice weekend for it.

I thought the Floyd tribute show at Mem Aud was really good and I actually saw the real Pink Floyd twice. The one at Rupp Arena was the best concert ever.

What? I didn't even think saying soccer isn't a real sport was a hot take. It's just a universally accepted truth.

Cross country with a ball played by folks who werent athletic enough to play football hoping for 1 score every 3 matches. And a clock that isn't really a clock and is super secret and only known by the officials.

I also don't enjoy watching people run on a treadmill for undisclosed amounts of time.

Back to basketball, a question and a speculation as I lay awake in the middle of the night. Does anyone have any information on Miles Brown’s return? It has been quite a while since he has played. And if the rumor that Ezuma is academically ineligible is true, might he return at the end of the term which would be December 16 or 17?

Russ referenced both before the YSU game, saying nothing more than Boals stating each being unavailable. I can’t even remember what play or how Miles got hurt. I’m actually surprised he’s been out this long.

He looked fine walking in the Bahamas. IJ, I’m guessing conference play since he’s ineligible this semester?

Miles first injured his knee in practice and it has been called a "sprained knee".
I have not heard anyone in the know use any terms like cartilidge damage or ligament damage. He has been working back into live practice and he has looked to be approx. 85 %. Let's hope that percentage continues to climb.

I know people get tired of hearing this...but it's not like we are getting an at-large bid...so why not rest Miles until he's 100% healthy. No reason to bring him back now for December games. And I'll say the same thing about AJB. If he not's healthy...sit him until January rolls around him. Would love to see this guy play at least one game in his career without a bulky shoulder brace/sleeve.

I think it was first 10 minutes into the Troy game.

Not disagreeing, but for Miles, this could be the last time he ever gets to play organized basketball in his life. He might not want to shortchange the amount of time. I believe it should be his decision first and foremost. As possibly the last player ever at OHIO who will spend 4+ years playing, he deserves that.
