The clouds have parted, the sun is shining, and I think I hear angels singing.

I really did think he'd win, but I'm very surprised by the landslide vote.  Great work DJ!  Just another line on the resume.

And Dambrot finally gets his nod.  Too bad he's done better coaching jobs in previous years, but hey.  It was deserved.

Awesome!  I'm actually a little surprised he won over Zeke, but DJ is very deserving.  I would not have been completely angry if Zeke had won, to be honest, because he did have a big year.  Now let's go demolish the MAC in Cleveland and get back to the dance!

Realistically it would have been close between DJ and Zeke as they both improved their games from last year and were the two most important guys in the conference.  But I think the media realized with all the records DJ set this year that he had to get it.  Almost like a career reward for being one of the best players to have come through the MAC.  I mean without DJ here is no Georgetown win or run to the Sweet 16 last year and no team has been better than Ohio in the postseason since the Kent State Elite 8 team.

Big Congrats to DJ, well-deserved.  I'm impressed with the voting this year on POY and All-Mac, the results actually make sense to me.  Now lets go dominate the Q!

Congrats to D.J. Cooper. A career as accomplished as his deserves it.

Looking at that list, I still can't believe Leon Williams didn't get one.

Nice job, DJ.  We are all witnesses.   It has been a great 4 year run and I'm confident that it will continue but the bar has been set very high for those Bobcats yet to come.

Zeke didn't even finish in second.

What a list of accolades this team has acquired.

I have no doubt DJ's #5 jersey will one day hang in the rafters. My question is this: are there other past athletes that deserve to have their jerseys retired? I've heard the name Caroline Mast thrown around here before. Is B-Hunt worthy? Personally, I feel that Ellen Herman's jersey should be honored. In my time following Ohio sports, I've never witnessed a player more dominant than Ellen.
