Can't win a a game shooting single digits from 3 and not much better inside the arc. Can't coach a team that shoots lie that either.
I've been fine with JC all year and have confidence that Ohio will be a solid team next year too with him at the helm. However, many of the 3s that were taken were contested, or rushed because Akron had OUr number defensively. I feel as though JC should have changed up some of the strategy (i.e. working hard to get Reg looks in the low post, playing full court pressure when Carmelo was on the bench) then the game would have been closer and some of our sleep walking seniors could wake up. Granted, the seniors should have been wired anyway given the circumstances.
