I agree about Bosley.

Also, I don't care if you leave the Hipshers off. This whole list should be called the Hipsher Hall of Fame. It's like Cy Young never winning a Cy Young. Who cares. It's just gotta be named after them.

I think it Andy earned the naming of the award after his visit to the Convo his freshman year.

What about Dan Palombizio from Ball State......I recall him trash talking big time with Ron Harper after Harper was named player of the  year and then getting lit up by Harper in tourney game.

Interesting article on Pa
l that recalled this thread.

How he got to the MAC after KEady shackled him at PU, not sure if he got lit up in this game but they  beat Harper and Fiami in the MACC and Pal put up 752 points in a single season in the MAC.

As I spent three days in Cleveland at the MAC Tourney my buddy and I came upon many fans from all of the different MAC schools. We were able to talk openly about who we hated and why. If you're talking OUr team, the consensus I received was a respect for D.J. and what he's done for the MAC in general. Teams hate him for being great. The guy I heard "I hate that _______" about was Stevie. It was mostly about how he hasn't done anything other than be a back up yet he comes across as cocky. I replied that is his role, to bring confidence and swag to this team. They didn't want to hear that!

Bornacat, it was the 1985 Mac tourney when Pal opened his mouth.....seemed to humble him a bit.   I was enrolled at bsu at the time (transferred to OU).   1986 was a nice run through the mac tourney for bsu, beat OU in the semi's and Miami in the finals pretty handily as I recall, then lost to what was Memphis State at the time in the ncaa.   Met 'bezio at a party one night and he was actually a pretty nice guy, a lot different than his on-court persona.
