Quick question, do we actually have 13 scholarship players? Or whatever the number is nowadays. It sure doesn’t look like it when you look at our bench.

We started year with 12 scholly players. Ezuma and AJB are non-active so down to 10. Nichol redshirting. Down to 9. If EJ is out that leaves us:
PG: Hunter, Sheldon
SG: Miles, Reef
C: Clayton, Wiz
F: Cornish, Hadaway

fill it or waste it there is a difference. No one available to fill it so why waste it? They tried to fill it, just couldn't get it done when it came down to it. We can blame the gourds guy, because the grass wasn't cut and the college green was not as pretty as it needed to be to make someone fall in love with it. Or we could say, folks didn't donate enough to get the money needed to land that big through the collective.

Billy, they wasted other scholarships. So they waste one more? In this day and age guys will walk if they don’t get playing time anyway.

Yeah, and LOTS of people come free at the last minute! Nothing wrong with being prepared. You realize Tim O'Shea made a living out of last minute pick-ups with one to give.
