So what does the "UB" stand for if their name is SUNYB?  They still show that logo on the floor.

Technically it stands for the University AT Buffalo, which is short for State University of New York at Buffalo

New York for UB is going to be one of those fads like Pittsburgh was for PITT. The public goes for what is simple and that is OHIO.
