Stevie has known all along what he wanted. THis is the first time he has had a chance to get on the floor and get there.
If you have not seen the potential in the previous years you have not been watching with a critical eye. THere are those moments along the way that gave you a clue. Dagger 3's and timely shots with drives to the rim are parts of last years highlight reels. THis is truly his first chance to run the team and he is making the most of it. Hard to play behind a guy like DJ and have your light shine.
Not to slam fans who are bipolar and have pendulum like mood swings on each game and each possession but ya gotta love those pronouncements that a player is a bust or is too small, too big. unskilled, the wrong fit and so on based what THEY see or feel. I am not as smart as a lot of these guys who proclaim a guy to be too this or that. I feel so dumb at times when they obviously can forsee an entire 4 year career in a 3 game sample through a crappy feed on a small video screen. When reading those opinions I feel like I got to get to even more games to hone my skills at evaluating players because I must not be very good.....
Awesome use of literary irony, borna...
