I missed this. When did it happen? Was it a re-tweak of existing injury?

It happed with a little more than 6 minutes to go in the game.  It looked pretty bad but it sounds like he just re-twisted his ankle which I didn't realize was bothering him to begin with.  I had heard something about his back being sore a week ago but nothing about the ankle.

Saw him hobbled a bit during the Mercer game I think, or maybe Heidelberg.  He seemed ok today until he reinjured it.

From Nature Boy's twitter account-

"I played 55% of my games through pain and this is since HS till now. Never missed a game since HS. I'll be back #fact #truestory . Love Pack!"

Redshirts burned for Wadley and Campbell at this point?

Was probably never even being considered with Harley and Wingfield yet to be used. Cant imagine more than 2 redshirts.

Thanks. I stepped away for a bit and it happened while I was out. Enjoyed his tweet too.

Great news.  Now I hope he misses the next couple of games just to be sure.

The way he was writhing in pain on the floor and screaming loudly had me thinking it was a blown out knee. The Convo was really hushed during the couple minutes he was down. I was wondering why he was in there at the time, but there was still a lot of time left in the game and I don't think the coaching staff was quite ready for Wadley and Antonio to be in there at the same time. I thought they would both be in there at the 4:00 timeout.

Two things made me feel better after the game. First, I exited at floor level and saw Maurice in the Athletic Training room. I stopped to ask how he was feeling and he said it was his ankle, not the knee. He also said it wasn't that bad and he'd be fine. His entire leg was in some sort of decompression chamber that looked pretty high tech. It was a lot different than the roll of tape and tightened up Reebok Pumps I had for my basketball sprains.

Also, JC discussed the reason for him even being out there in the postgame interview with Russ. With Jon dislocating his finger, they were down one big man already. Based on the way Jon shook hands with the kids/students after the game, I'd guess he hurt his left hand. He's been shooting the ball well, so I hope it is in fact his non-shooting hand that is hurt. The team is really playing well together right now. The schedule is perfect for them to get healed up in the next 14 days and finish the non-conference games up with the same energy they've had so far.
