These guys gave WMU a tough game a few weeks ago in Kalamazoo.  Looks like they go ten deep, and have a couple guys who can really make the 3-ball.

OT somewhat, but this is where Semeka Randall landed as the women's head coach.

Saw your commercial for the upcoming games on Bobcat TV Olkatz. Pretty good stuff.

You have to respect your opponents and Alabama A&M's close battle at Western Michigan should give us pause.

But this is a middle of the pack SWAC team and we are coming off a very disappointing loss and wanting to prove that we are back on track.

The psychological advantage is clearly with Ohio, despite the fact that we have UMass coming into the Convo next week.

We're a completely different team at home.  I think we win this one by 15 or so.

Agree.

Same here - but likely pretty sparse attendance. I have to miss due to weekend business trip (Naples FLA - "Shark Shootout" - Includes golf outings and VIP tent - Not Complaining - Especially per the weather!). My teenage son has the tics - hopefully he shows up and makes some noise.................

I gotta think no way we come out duds for this one.

I doubt they expect many students.  Rufus Kids Club has a promotion where the first 50 kids that redeemed their voucher for a free ticket get to sit in the courtside bleachers.

The Bulldogs are coming off a win against Tennessee State. They will not be intimidated or run out of the building.

There is a 90% chance of a wintry mix on Saturday that should concern even the heartiest of travelers. It could be rain, it could be snow, it could be spiders. Be sure to pack your car with a blanket, bottled water and a few Snickers bars. But if you find yourself stranded, eat the Snickers quickly, as it will get harder when the car gets cold and you could bleed to death from cut gums.

Of greater concern is the pollen alert issued for Athens County. Very rare to see this time of year, grass and weed counts are high. That is expected to drop for the weekend as the student body takes most of the grass and weed home for the holidays. I am not making this up.

I say no parental supervision and we give them unlimited juice boxes and already-opened bags of Skittles that will inevitably find their way onto the floor for Home Alone-like hijinks. A pint-sized OZone creating havoc against the opposing team. Maybe we can even get one of them thrown out.

If it works out, we tell the college students to go sit in the 200 level until they can show the same level of enthusiasm as these sugared-up tots.

There will be a high school band taking the place of the 110. Fairfield Union is coming down from Rushville, I'll be there with them since I'm an alumni from there. I was also a member of their band, and a member of the 110 now. I'll be loud enough for all of them!

Athens is already in ghost-town mode and getting lighter by the day. They'll be virtually no students come Friday.

We will be rolling 13 deep as a bunch of alumni O-Zoners.  Talked to the ticket guy, and he made it sound like we could sit in the O-Zone.

Plan on getting rowdy.

I sat in the Ozone recently.....you may have to share space with others to the right. left and in front of you. We had multiple folks who were down there with us listening to Michigan go for 2 and miss resulting in a yelp of delight.

Hey, at least they were there.  Can't ask kids to put blinders on to everything else besides Ohio basketball.  Very well could have been watching the game on TV while listening to the Cats on the radio.

Kids?

Grown AZ adults sporting Bucknuts gear sitting in the Ozone on all 3 sides of me. I was very polite. Next time I go I am going to take extra t shirts and offer them some "clean:" laundry seeing as how that may be the ONLY clean thing they had left to wear.

My gram always taught us to be respectful of where we are. I thank her for saving me from outwardly looking like a douche...

Found out some interesting things while perusing the Alabama A&M website:
  • Our best players are Cooper and Baltic.
  • Ohio competes in the Mid Atlantic Conference.
  • The Bulldogs are set to "tavel" to Athens for the game.
Yeah...the SWAC.
