Haddaway is just not athletic enough.

Anybody got a bet on the over or under of 100 points for them?

And a newsflash for 206… This team is not going to the NCAA tournament

My favorite again. Five guys in the lane leave the shooters wide-open.
Aidan Hadaway is very athletic. There's a difference between not being athletic and being a poor defender.

Why are we so awful on the road? We look unmotivated. There was a Miles drive in 2nd half where he casually went up and was swatted. No rebounding. Toledo is going to destroy us.

Sheldon can’t wait to get his feet in the lane. Then he runs out to guard somebody. The guy goes right around him. More great defense. At least the kid can shoot the ball.

Haddaway is a poor defender because he has slow feet and lacks lateral movement. He may be able to run fast in Jump but that doesn’t make him very athletic.

This is all dumb. We are plenty motivated. They're hitting everything, they've gotten some loose balls and they've taken advantage of every offensive board. They're playing a great game at home and we're shorthanded (again). Compete and finish strong even if you don't win.

Sorry…but this is inaccurate. Captain Chaos is athletic.

We're going to give up 100 and lose by 20. To a team ranked above 150 and is below 500 in the mighty Sun Belt. Let that sink in. Losing isn't the end of the world. It's how it's happening.

We're going to get absolutely smoked by Toledo.

In fact, our remaining schedule is brutal. Only home games are Kent (should win) Akron (that's a loss) and BG (we don't match up with them well at all).

It's not out of the realm to think we only get 2 more W's (we still have Buffalo and NIU on the road).

Agreed. Sometimes you play a team who can’t do anything wrong. Their center hit a 3 and I think they said he’s like 1-12 in his career from beyond the arc lol. That’s like Gabe hitting one.

Not going to be over or under 100. Gonna be 100 exactly.

Great defense today. This is one to forget.

We hit more 3s than them 13 to 11.

They shot 64% from the floor. SIXTY FOUR. Our defense had a lot to do with that.

We lost this game inside the arc.

Out-rebounded 31-21 and Ark St was 26-36 (72%) from inside the 3pt line. Most of that damage done via penetration and our ole defense.

I disagree with those who say that this game doesn't matter, and who cares if we win or not. Every game matters. A win helps team psychology and keeps the momentum going.
You will only hear me complain if someone like Elmore makes his injury worse by playing in this game. Get home with no injuries and focus on Toledo. I don’t care if we lose this game by 30.
Arkansas state did not miss. We played this game without Ajay Brown and Reef. As I said a few days ago, this was a perfect storm for Ark State and not Ohio.

No reason to overanalyze it. Get Reef healthy and finish the MAC regular season strong. It’s all about 3 magical March days in Cleveland. Let’s get a quality seed.

Thank God the MAC is literally awful. We can be bad and still win a game or two.

if playing can make his injury worse then he wouldn't be playing at all. This is just the type of nothing-to-lose game where maybe he finds his stroke and it propels him to a strong finish.

He's a shell of himself since coming back for sure. Don't know if he's still not there physically or if he just doesn't trust his knee yet mentally. Could be hard for a guy who makes his living by being an overly physical guard who can crash the boards and slash the lane if he doesn't think he can do that through contact anymore without fearing reinjury.

Maybe Boals read this board and said screw it results be damned let's just let EJ4 get as much run as possible, I dunno. But James plating the most minutes of anybody on the roster today makes absolutely no sense to me.

Hadaway and Sheldon deserve his minutes until he gets right. Then again we aren't going anywhere significant without him so there's that.

Sometimes you are Ohio. Sometimes you are Georgetown. Today we were Georgetown.

Not sure there’s much to learn from this one. Burn the tape and move on.

69…burn the tape? Show it to them 100x and maybe they will learn how NOT to play defense. Running at three point shooters, not boxing out, leaving shooters open, giving up the baseline, and on and on. After 100 viewings and maybe learning what you don’t do then you can burn the damn tape.

Start by making it the in-flight movie on the way home. ASU had 52 points in the paint, with a lot of uncontested layups and tip-ins (19 second chance pts to our nine). This is a game they shouldn't forget. It should gnaw at them for the rest of the season.

Agree that we can't make noise in Cleveland if Elmore doesn't start contributing. The knee injury is obviously going to be a problem the rest of the way. Was baffled as to why Elmore was on the floor the final five minutes today when we needed 3's and Sheldon didn't get back into the game until 2:06 remaining. Make it make sense.

Anybody else feel like there was a huge discrepancy between us and ASU in terms of athleticism and length?
