You will only hear me complain if someone like Elmore makes his injury worse by playing in this game. Get home with no injuries and focus on Toledo.
if playing can make his injury worse then he wouldn't be playing at all. This is just the type of nothing-to-lose game where maybe he finds his stroke and it propels him to a strong finish.

That is the way to double a guy at the top of the circle and leave the shooter wide open Hadaway. Our team defense is just horrible today.

I reiterate, you have got to guard the three-point line in today’s college game. I would give anybody two every time down the court if I can get three.

The way we play defense, and I use the term defense loosely, we just may get our wish and lose by 30.

Don't shoot the messenger when this carries over and we get thumped by Toledo, because that's happening.

they're shooting the way we did against miami. take Shareef out of the perimeter defense equation, some really sloppy turnovers (not a ton but they all seemed to lead RIGHT to points) and it's a bad recipe. Better find something on both sides in half 2.

6 of 7 MAC teams are down at the half. 1-2 in games that have ended. And a lot of games that aren't very close.

I'm not "worked up". Our defense is atrocious. So is our rebounding but that's always been true with this roster. While this particular game results don't matter as it pertains to the NCAA, the WAY the team plays matters. You're always trying to get better and work on things. Not to mention there's an aspect of competitiveness and pride.

Why do you have neither?

I think he's plenty athletic. He can run fast and jump high. What he doesn't do is actually move his feet on defense. It's pathetic. Then again you can say the same about the entire team.

Slow feet when on ball. The guys off ball standing straight up, hands at their sides. Not only does it hurt our help side defense but it makes finding guys to box out difficult.

Buy a ticket if you want to stand and watch.

This times 100. Talking about not taking a game seriously is a pro mindset when you've already clinched something. Not something you do with a developing college roster that's inconsistent to begin with.

I don't think they are either. In fact go back and check pre-season prediction thread. I didn't think they were then either.

I said that in reference to Fear's "This game means nothing" comments. He's right as it pertains to getting to the dance. Nothing but Cleveland matters there. Doesn't mean you don't even TRY to compete and get better though.
