We also have an opportunity to take the MAC's lone patch of land on the imperialism map. Miami has a small territory on the Kentucky/Tennessee border

That is a Maryland logo. See the crest under the "M"

But I've heard Fiami fans do like Gatlinburg TN/Cherokee NC as a vacation spot.

Ohio fans seem to enjoy Hilton Head Island SC - I ran into some there.

Nah, the Paducah area.

Well, whether in Athens or Hilton Head, you currently have Beaver overlords.

Paducah? What's there beside some good junk-tique shopping downtown?

(And a popular weed dispensary across the river)

Based on the availability on the seat map, I think we may actually hit close to 10k (tickets sold) with a decent walkup.

Saturday game at 2pm with both teams playing decently of late, I'd hope for no less than 7,500 fans but I know things aren't what they used to be crowd wise.

I was a student when Ohio had 13,011 in attendance for Gary Trent Day in 2012. Would be nice to approach 10K but don't know if that's realistic or not.

Miami fans' interest in basketball program is off the charts. They still haven't started a thread for tomorrow's game.

Just win. It feels like we really need this one to keep momentum. I don't care all that much how ugly it is as long as it goes in the W column.

They did pack Millet Hall last Saturday for a buzzer-beater, 2-pt win over previously undefeated and MAC leader Akron with over 1,400 fans.

I know folks complain about games getting moved to Fridays... But I gotta believe OU said hell no this week. No way CBSSN wanted Kent-Buffalo over this one. Right?

Hope we have some recruits in town for this one. Should be a great Convo crowd.

Also..... Fuck Miami....

Heh, my parents were at that one.

Not that it would make an enormous difference with their current sports landscape, but Miami students are still largely on break throughout January. Their board moans about it all the time.

Kent at UB would be a marquee matchup of MAC leaders for a number of recent years. This year? Not so much.

Wowsers. That is a lot of speculation about "stuff" . I am encouraged that some Green is flowing through some OHIO blood! tomorrow will be fun, no matter what. I am stoked for Sibs/Fiami! I missed last year. However, been a season ticket holder since the 70's. Hopefully they will play the "Charlie Coles" shout out before the game. I am with Ruck again. If you are in the state contemplating how to spend your afternoon, come down and root for those boys tomorrow.

Spread on the game is Bobcats by 8.5

Lumburgh might say "Yeah...I just don't know about that..."

Both teams have some momentum though, so you never can tell. If we can get their chubby guy and skinny guy into foul trouble (to quote Lumbergh)... "That would be great"

You think Buffalo was bad here at the Convo the other night?

They were behind 51-22 at the half AT HOME yesterday.

That coach doesn't have much bench to work with so he might want to play some zone to keep what little talent he does have fresh and out of foul trouble. And slow down the pace of the game...work deep into the shot clock on offense. He should know things like that if he is the coach of a supposed D-1 basketball team.

And he coached under Jay Wright at Villanova????

Crowd size looks tremendous. Russ estimating over 10K. If you're in the building, accurate?

Interesting that going into that timeout they showed Hadaway standing right next to Clayton.

Both are listed at 6 foot 8, but Clayton easily had 2 inches on him.
