Even though Delaware Ohio was still a small community, in 1812, when the capital of Ohio was moved from Chillicothe, Delaware and Columbus were both in the running and Delaware lost by a single vote to Columbus.

Not certain why Chillicothe lost the state capital status. Horse and buggy apparatus didn't have catalytic converters did they?

Excited to get back in the Convo before we head back home for Christmas break. Would love to take charge of the conference seeing Akron / Kent State / Toledo struggling.

Big shoutout to Jaylin / Elmore / Aiden / Ajay / Estis - they have come over to us during warmups every home game to thank us for our support - excited what we can further do in NC play.

Ya know, I'm looking forward to heading back to the Convo as well Cellis.. I think this should be an interesting match-up. I , however am not the fact- checker of the bunch, The Hens have wins vs. A couple mid-majors. The Cats have to protect the Roundhouse. It's just a real bummer that you and your Ozone folk won't be around for the Marshall game. WTH? I hope they have an important game tomorrow... Rather than OHIO/Marshall on a Saturday afternoon !? 🤔🧐$$

The Marshall game is before finals, so no worries there. Is Santa Fest still a thing? Two years ago I came into town for a Saturday game vs St Francis PA the first or second weekend of December. Thought there'd be a decent college basketball Saturday vibe but the building was pretty desolate. Uptown, however, was in full on night club mode before the sun even went down.

Man, this team sucks at FT’s. Delaware came to play today, not sure where our guys are at.

Entirely too much hero ball going on today. Guys driving to the hoop one on three, forcing up junk that's never there in transition. Brutal to watch

Forgive me if this is somewhere on the board already, but I have to ask, what is up with the audio for Ohio games on espn+? Have to crank the volume just to barely hear the game, and then a commercial comes on and about blows the speakers. I haven't noticed this for other espn+ games that aren't Ohio.

AJ Brown is not 100%.

We have no bigs outside Clayton, who would rather be a guard.

And we have 2 very talented, but shoot/drive/score first guards, who would much rather call their own # than run an offense.

For a team with 739 guards, we don't shoot the 3 very well. That's a bad combination. And our assists per made FG is terrible. Both the assists and the 3% could be cured with better ball movement and facilitating from the guards.

EJ4 and Hadaway with good afternoons so far.

*Edit to add something just feels right to have a Trent back in the Convo.

Pretty impressive to turn a lackluster day into a win. The team battles. Not gonna win many shooting 26% from 3, but I'll take it.

Really ugly game but I'll take a win any day of the week! Hate to harp on it but our free throw shooting is unacceptable. It's already cost us a few games this year and nearly did today. We were 10-21 from the line.

Overall, I'm impressed by our ability to keep fighting when it seemed liked Delaware had answers the majority of the time. Got lucky they missed the open look at the end but that's how it goes sometimes.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this year's team is unconventional in comparison to past years. In regards to not having a "true big" .. as far as guards driving to the hole "and hoping for something " it's just how it's going to be this year. I was very pleased with the perseverance the team played down the wire. That was a fun game in the Roundhouse today. *shout out Clayton! You really came through at the end to solidify a solid win against an over-than average MAC team.

- Gutted out a nice win.

- Our FT shooting is ass.

- 3pt shooting is ass.

- Nice to see Elmore get back on track.

- Impressed by TEAM rebounding. 6 players had 5+ rebounds. Not sure I've ever seen that. Thought rebounding would be the reason we lose most nights (turns out itll be FT's)

- AJB can't be healthy. Timid. Not shooting. Barely looking to shoot.

- Wiz is in the dog house

- Nice to see Hadaway step up in the extra Wiz minutes, if he gets us 7-7 every night we'll be tough to beat in the MAC

- Jaylin is worth his weight in gold. We always seem to find these PG's who do it all. Huge.

+1. AJC had 5 blocks today. Not something I ever thought would happen. Helluva season he’s having too.

Strange coaching without Boals.

Cornish hits the first three and nobody else can hit one and Ike gets to play the total of 7 minutes?

Hadaway plays good but unless AJ Brown is hurt, why sooo many minutes when he has so little court time especially at crunch time?

Cornish shot three other field goals and missed them all. He also missed his only free throw.

A.J. Brown is hurt. He's not playing well. He had two of the team's three turnovers (that's a great stat, by the way) and didn't make another field goal after the game's opening basket. He also went 1-4 at the line. Hadaway is his backup and he did well. I think it was the right call for him to play at crunch time.

I would really like us to sit A.J. until he gets better.

AJB is 8-20 from the line this year. That's 40% for you and me.

I can do that blindfolded. Literally.

He also didn't attempt a shot after his shoulder got bumped again. The dude is not right. Probably trying to gut it out with Miles and IJ already on the shelf but it's pretty obvious.

Good on the team to persevere for an ugly win.

Didn’t watch the game so how are so many of us sure that AJB is hurt? Was he limping? Favoring a wrist or a shoulder? If nothing overt then I think it’s irresponsible to assume someone is playing hurt because of poor metrics vs the comps.

AJB had an injured shoulder last season. He left the court for the locker room during the Detroit game two weeks ago after hurting his shoulder. He returned to play later in that game but all of the above leaves many on here speculating a reason for his play the last few games.

On another note, anyone else notice Gabe wearing goggles during pre-game warmups? Something I haven't noticed before today.

On yet another note (OT), go CREW!!! Massive comeback tonight in Cincy.

Edit: Told SBH during the game today that I will miss Wednesday's game v. YSU but plan on being down for next Saturday's game v. Marshall. I noticed a little bit later the strange tip-off time of 4 p.m. next Saturday after the first 3 home Saturday games this season were at 2 p.m. Not that important and definitely not a deal breaker. That was until watching an absolutely massive 3-2 comeback win for the Columbus Crew tonight on the road at MLS Supporter Shield winner FC Cincinnati after being down 2-0 with only 15 minutes left. The starting time for next Saturday's MLS Cup hosted by the Crew? 4 p.m.

If we can shoot on the north side of70% from the free-throw line, I think we could beat YSU Wednesday before Farshall. ( who somehow lost to Fiami) . Not sure what discipline coach is going after.. shooting coaches help.

Random thoughts.

-We had no business winning that game.

-Almost nothing frustrates me more, as a fan, than watching clanked free throws.

-Hadaway impressed me today with his energy.

-There was no difference in Cousin Mose's play with or without the glasses.

-Jaylin Hunter seemed to ditch the perimeter shot and get to the rim when outside shots weren't falling. I liked that.

-Elmore James finishing at the rim is a thing of beauty.

-AJ Clayton doesn't have to score to contribute.

-We had no business winning that game.
