Guys, I can give you a bit of history on Longwood too. It's more like an Ashland or Findlay in that it was D2 until about 5-8 years ago. However, academically it is probably better than the two above schools. Very high on the list as a Southern Regional Public Institution.
Athletically, my sons played soccer there in the early 2000s. They were in transition mode when they graduated. Other interesting fact is that it was an all women's institution until the late 70s (I believe that date is correct). As stated before their most famous athletic grad is Kersey. There was also a baseball player who was pretty good (played in the Olympics and for the Reds for a couple of seasons, an outfielder). But I forget his name:)
Bottom line, we should kill them,. Their RPI is in the 300s. If we don't beat 'em bad my son will have a field day at my expense!
