ESPN's schedule doesn't show the game on ESPN3 but if you click on one the ESPN3 link on one of the other games, there's a link to it.

I couldn't find it scrolling through the ESPN3 listing service on the Apple TV app, but I saw it when I went to the Sports tab and then selected men's college basketball

I do not know if this is only in areas that the ESPN3 feed is not blacked out (I am not), but the the Ohio on demand feed has the Time Warner video feed with Russ and Rob commentary.

Thank God, because listening to Reghi's partner is painful.  He's awful.

But the former Ohio State Captain (1989-90) is considered a "Super Lawyer"!

Reghi's no prize.  He basically has three favorites -- Akron, Kent & Toledo -- and talks them up constantly.

He also usually speaks too soon.  There were many times where he would say "a big three by...." only it was a long two.  Everyone does well and is impressive too-kind of a poor man's John Gruden.

I guess I would rather have someone who is enthusiastic than the alternative?  It's also nice to be able to watch the Cats on tv more often than not.

I like when he says Ohio's Bobcats.  With the way everyone wants to talk about how we own the term "Ohio", I would guess that everyone would like it.

Also in regards to him liking those teams...it makes sense.   They are the teams in the big markets that realistically should have the biggest upside from a fan standpoint.  Now we all know that is rarely the case.  All you have to do is look at the Ohio fan support, but I can still understand.

Tony White played hoops at your high school, Pataskala, before heading to an o$u.

Don't think so.  I went to high school in rural NW Ohio (a redundancy, I know) and the only minorities in that school district are Hispanics.

I think Reghi has always been very knowledgeable and complimentary to our teams, players and coaches. And he always gives props to the O Zone, whereas other network announcers don't even notice.

how can anyone who ever listened to Dave Cecutti or Steve Mix butcher a broadccast ever complain about Tony White? White is by far the best sidekick Reghi has had in the last couple of years. I'd go so far as to say I enjoy their call.

Sorry, Pataskala.

I meant your namesake, where I assumed  you live and home of the Watkins Memorial Warriors.

That's ok.  Our son is in middle school so we're just starting to get into the high school scene.

I'd have Reghi for any MAC broadcast from now until he retires if I could. He's knowledgable and genuinely enthusiastic about the conference. I still miss him doing Cavs games.

It appeared that they used the Ohio video broadcast for this game.
It's not always consistently clear, I don't know why. The picture also appears too dark?
Is there someone who lend some insight into these broadcast observations?

Not sure if this true, but Ohio doesn't seem to have "TV quality" lights.

Granted, but they are sufficient for pretty good broadcasts. I have beenin a lot of gyms and watched a lot of games with horrible broadcast ....IU seems always to be dark. Mackey at PU and the Joyce Center (both designed by the COnvo designers) are much darker in my experience with TV and in person than the Convo.

I got a feeling this one is on the feed and equipment in play....NORRRRRRIIIIIIIISSSS!!!!! where are you?

We do have "TV lights" however that's defined, as mentioned in that summary. Late 90s or early 2000s-ish timeframe.

Not sure which broadcast or stream you're referring to in particular, haven't been able to see a lot of many of them due to work of late, just bits and pieces, but it can depend on the camera lens and sensor quality, as well as the skill of whomever is shading the cameras (for a broadcast).

They had a least four cameras -- at least two above and two on the floor -- so I think they brought their own.

The brightness can be a matter of how the techies adjust the cameras.  Go to the Ohio portal and compare the BSU broadcast with the Akron broadcast.  The Akron video is a bit brighter, with some glare at center court.  Could be different directors or it could be that they thought the Akron video was too bright so they toned it down a bit for BSU.
