Sounds about right.  I'm kind of surprised Akron is only a 6 point favorite against BSU.

That's the line that stood out to me as well but I don't think I'd touch it.  Not a big fan of betting on a road team that can't shoot free throws.

I made an account on my Pick Em game called VegasLines that will just make picks for the Vegas favorite every game.  Should be interesting to see how well it does, and their W/L and accuracy by team throughout the year.

I'm guessing by the nature of what it's designed to do it won't do very well.    On a side note, Pomeroy's predictor has the underdog covering in all six games with Ohio and BG winning outright.

My experience is that even though Vegas lines aren't really designed to pick winners, they do a better job than most people.

All of the lines are pretty small. In most of the games, the better team is arguably the road team with the exception of NIU at Buffalo.

That one's debatable but Miami is about 70 spots higher in the RPI.

Tonight shows that this is not exactly your normal MAC evening. It will be a very entertaining year in the MAC.

It was awfully nice of the MAC to let us go a full 18 holes this year.

Yes indeed...Miami at -2 along with Ohio and Akron. I'm pretty sure they still suck though.

wouldn't we be at -1, with two losses at home and three wins on the road?
