One thing I've noticed is we absolutely don't sell the plays.
I've watched numerous times, we set a slow pick and roll and Wiz doesn't even look back for the ball. Sheldon just did it also... he set a "pick" and rolled to the hoop and there wasn't a human within 42 feet of him. I could've had the worlds easiest two. Hunter didn't seem to even look to him anyway and just passed it around the perimeter. I'm guessing the play was just that - pass it around the perimeter until someone gets open for 3... Hadaway. Miss.
Edit*
I’m not advocating for more Wiz shots… but it would be nice if he even looked like a decoy. Same with Sheldon. Saw Hadaway run through a pick down low and not even look up. We really have zero inside presence. Our starting 4/5 had 4 rebounds combined and went 3/8 from 3. Teams can tell who is a threat and who is not.
Maybe if we ran these plays with a little more gusto, a little better sell job and actually looked to score and looked for the ball rather than simply running the play for X we would win a couple more games.
