Huge hurdle cleared by Toledo, 22-4 and an RPI around 29 with this remaining:

vs Ball St (1-12)
@ Northern Ill (6-7)
vs Western Mich (10-3)
@ Central Mich (2-11)
vs Eastern Mich (7-6)

Then probably versus 1 or 2 top 100 RPI teams in the Semis and/or Championship.

If they get thru those 5 (not a complete cake walk but they will be solid favorites in each) and go into the MAC tourney 27-4, I am telling you they are IN...even if they lose in the semis.  I'll be rooting for them hard the next 5.

But of course, often lost in the discussion of at-large hopes is they actually have to not win the conference championship for this to matter.

Well tonight was what I would consider the toughest game left for the Rockets, and they went down.  And with it, likely their at-large hopes.  It's a shame because I still maintain 27-5 and their RPI would've had them in.  26-6 with a hit to their RPI tonight, probably unlikely.  The bubble, it's a fragile place.
