IPFW at Ohio, 2PM Saturday

Will be a tough game. Akron shot 65% from the field tonight and got beat.

Back in December when I first saw Tony play I thought he would never be much of a player...Guess I was wrong! ;)

I just made a lot of cash.  I'd bet that  1) we'd win this game with   2) Mo, Nick, Wilkins and Bean in low single figures and   3) Stevie with 13, Setty with 13, and Campbell with 21.

That crystal ball you have sees so clearly.

3,261 in attendance, just OK for an Ohio game, but

About exactly 10X the crowd of 327 that showed up in Ypsilanti last night

Tonight's attendance was the lowest of the season. BUT...

Of the 20 tournament games played yesterday only the 2 NCAA games and the NIT games hosted by Arkansas, Clemson and Minnesota had higher attendance then OUr game tonight. And Clemson and MN beat us by just a few hundred each.

Relatively speaking, OUr attendance tonight was awesome.

The 17-year drought is over!

Tonight's game was the first Ohio Basketball game I had attended since 1997--Geno was still playing the last time I was at a game! (I am a season ticket holder for football, and never miss a home game, but work duties prevent me from going to basketball games. Strange, since as a student in the Dave Jamerson era I was much more interested in basketball than football.)

Anyway, I had a great time! (I had forgotten how much I enjoyed watching games at the Convo!) Campbell was very impressive tonight, and Taylor and Setty provided a nice scoring punch off the bench (which was needed, since Ndour, Kellogg, and Willis all had subpar offensive games. Hopefully I'll be able to make the IPFW game on Saturday!

We had the best attendance of any of the CIT games that reported.
