This is a good team-they beat Cleveland State in the Horizon League tournament, and we just saw the trouble CSU gave Ohio, so Wright State's legit.

Don;lon is doing a fine job over there. He will remember his first year there as we ran them pretty good. He has a system in place and will show us a new look Raider team.

Will there be video Saturday or have they taken the equipment out for the school year?

This is a very good basketball team that will be a real handful for the Bobcats!   Should be a great game to watch.  Hopefully the 'Cats will come out with great energy and desire like they did last night.  Great opportunity for our young "Bigs" to gain real-time experience against a very capable opponent !!

By video equipment, do you mean this?

It's definitely Wright State now. I got the same email this morning, though.

Then again, maybe they'll switch it up again and we'll play Columbia.

Any chance Ricardo will actually play?  If so, any chance he's able/fit enough to give us some minutes of good defense?

I'm hoping that every day brings a bit of better health for him.  It's great to even be able to think about this given how bad the injury seemed when it happened.

According to Christian, Ricardo will not be playing. He said no one who went to medical school has cleared him to play. Dr. Ricardo Johnson, however, has cleared him to play.

Let's hope this Dayton-based team doesn't have the same luck as the University of Dayton did against OSWho!

Some odd misconceptions about OU from the Wright State board-

- there's not as many places to eat around campus as you would think.
- the restaurants in Athens are all so small that on a weeknight you literally won't be able to get inside the door to get a seat.
- you'll be better off eating outside of Athens.
- attendance will most likely be less than 1K.

This particular Wright State fan went to the Halloween Party once while tripping out on LSD.

Does Wright State actually have student fans (in the traditional 18-22 year old sense), or just upper-middle aged Fairborn-area season ticket holders (not alumni) and post-secondary enrollment high school students who don't go to athletic events or live on campus?

Important Information for Season Ticket Holders:
Survive and advance! The Bobcats are moving on to the 2nd round of the CIT and will take on Wright State on Saturday (March 22) at 2:00 pm.

All tickets for the game are $10 each. As a season ticket holder, you have the first opportunity to reserve your season ticket location. This "early reservation" deadline will close on Friday, March 21 at 2:00 pm. After that, all seats will open for sale to the general public.

Season ticket holders may secure their seats by clicking here or by calling 800-575-2287. Fans will be allocated into their season ticket location automatically once their order is placed through the online system.

Current Ohio students will be admitted free of charge at the Convocation Center student entrance. Students must show a valid Ohio University ID for admission.

Parking at the game will be free of charge. Fans may park in the lots located behind the Convocation Center (lots 127/128). Click here to view a campus parking map.

Reserved tickets will be available for purchase on gameday for $10, as available. Gates open at 12:30 pm. Season ticket holders should be aware that they will not be able to request their season ticket location on gameday.

Go Bobcats!

Clearly a well-informed fan base. I also enjoyed the attendance smack predicting less than 1,000 in the Convo. They obviously have a keen and deep understanding of Athens and Ohio basketball.

So I've been on BA for long enough that I SHOULD know this, but I have to ask it anyway: what (if any) columbus area radio stations (over the air) carry the OHIO Basketball broadcasts?

The TuneIn Radio app works well anywhere you have an internet connection too.

The comments on the Wright State board highlight why teams should care about the actions of other programs in their conference. Like it or not, people associate you with the company you keep. We play in a conference that is literally known for fan apathy towards their sports programs. When a major national sports publication tweets out a story about an EMU player being "embarrassed" by his own school's fan support, it reflects poorly on the entire Mid-American Conference.

With that said, Ypsilanti Community College's actions that continue to wreck collateral damage on the MAC do not excuse the Wright State fanbase for their lack of knowledge about Ohio. It isn't like we haven't beat these guys more than once within fairly recent times. I remember a couple years back (bracketbuster?) when they came to the Convo their board was talking smack acting like they would bring a huge student crowd to Athens and outnumber the O Zone. I guess they assumed bringing 10 fans was good enough to win the fan battle in Oxford so that somehow transfers to Athens? Not sure how sound the logic is there, but that is to be expected as Wright State is certainly no Ohio academically.
