Bad loss.

Ohio shouldn't be dropping games to a team like VMI

Yet some people are very fluent in it.

I would like to take a second and say thank you to Drake and Dan in our athletic department for letting us put the VMI students in the upper O-Zone.

For those questioning why we would do that: We thought it would be a nice gesture to the students who did the long and tedious drive to attend a CIT game. They were class, and it made for some fun banter back and forth.

Good game tough loss, especially after the great 1st 15 minutes where they played as good as they have all season. We didn't contest their shots well, and they buried them all night. And the free throw line did us in too where they were 21-25 and beat us by 10.  Nice to see Nick go out in style.

Props to you guys!!  Class move and example #1,000,001 why Ohio University and it's student body are the best!

Good season, nice run and we were the last MAC team standing. I'll take that most any year.

Fully agree. They were great to have in the O Zone. Great fans.

For those of you who don't know, I come from a small town just north of Lexington, so this was a personal game for me to watch. After the game, I ran into an old classmate of mine I lost touch with a couple of years back, and he talked about how beautiful the campus and the Convo is. They all had a great time.

I can't imagine watching this team in this game and in this season and after its all over feeling like I need to complain and gripe. Sure I'm disappointed we didn't win more, that's always the case, but this was a hard fought game and a hard fought season. Can't wait to do all over again next year.

Sure, there were things Ohio could have done better to win the game, but I think for this team to win as many games as it did with only a handful of players who were not hurt in some way for the last couple months was more than could have been reasonably expected.

Agree totally:  VMI really executed it's game plan after the first 12 minutes of the game.  And look who played for us.  Or, perhaps who didn't.  No Rico, no TJ, no Smith, Wilkins and many others dinged up.

Compared to the team we thought that we had at the beginning of the year, the 'survivors' played and achieved splendidly.  If you'd've known going into the season that guys who were largely unproven such as Wilk, Stevie, Setty, Bean, Campbell would play huge roles and TJ and Rico would be significantly unavailable, would you have expected what we achieved?  Would you have expected Nick to have developed so much and played wonderfully?

I must have missed it somewhere but does anyone know why T J didn't play tonight? He had been playing through his injuries in previous games so it just made me wonder.

Thanks!

JC mentioned postgame that TJ had hurt his ankle and wasn't physically able to play.
