Since Freeman is immune to fouls, keep attacking Ali and take him out of the game. He already has two and plays with a lot of emotion.
Just saying I put this out in the universe.

Same lean and move into the defender screen with the knee that got Sullinger looks in the previous game has come on over to this game. Should be set but they seem to just let that go....

That was a weak T, but I’ll take it.

It was, but he got T’d for chirping all game. That was the last straw for the refs….or at least that one.

Our smallness just makes it difficult for the guards to finish in the lane.
It's one thing for our guards to have difficulty finishing around the rim. It's another thing when Ohio's biggest player in its rotation to have difficulty finishing right at the rim.

Exactly what I was afraid of. They are now hitting threes.

You gotta get Clayton back in. Wiz is just not quick enough on the screen.

Clayton entering game with 9:54 on the clock. He's has to stay on the floor the rest of the game.

Should’ve called a TO after the second three. Now ALL of the moment is on Akron

We need someone to get hot and hit a couple/few 3s. Miles, maybe?

Why exactly? Wiz has played really well and provides size against Freeman that Clayton doesn't. If AJ isn't hitting 3s he's not doing much against a team with good bigs like this.

Got to start stringing together some possessions. We’ve given them life for the first time.

I was wondering how a a 6-0, 5th-year senior guard (Brown) can see a 6-10 Sammy Hunter running at him at the 3-point line and not go with the pump fake and drive past him. But then, seconds later, another 6-0, 5th-year senior guard (Hunter) sees a long, shot-blocking Freeman running at him at the 3-point line and also fails to sense this and drive past him.

At least the second one resulted in a basket after the blocked shot.

I guess our philosophy is to use our quickness to just go to the rim every time. Hopefully we foul all of them out. However, we’ve got to finish in the lane and or hit free throws. And guarded the three-point line.

I don't like to say this sort of thing, but the referees should be ashamed for the performance they're putting in today. This is not acceptable.
