Crowd looks amazing.

Too many turnovers on offense. Thankfully Clayton is possessed from 3.

Miami's defense looks tough and they've shown several ways to score against us. They're also getting lots of bounces and loose balls.

This one is going to be a challenge.

With the way we shot the ball from three we should be up by more than seven. Can we continue the hot pace from three? Somebody needs to explain to me why Clayton sat the last seven minutes? Boals should have called a timeout in the last 4 minutes to get Clayton in for The Whiz…who played way too many minutes in the first half.

We are not up by more because we gave up too many offensive rebounds, made some stupid turnovers, and haven’t won many loose balls.

10 assists on 14 made field goals. Like it!

Offense is purring. Defense is overall good. Miami is only in this because of the offensive boards leading to more attmpts.

Interesting that going into that timeout they showed Hadaway standing right next to Clayton.

Both are listed at 6 foot 8, but Clayton easily had 2 inches on him.
If you told me Clayton was 6'10" I'd believe you.

I was okay with Wiz's run. Throw other guys (including Ike!) at Mirambeaux and make sure Clayton is in the game at the end.

Miami hasn't been able to put 3 good possessions in a row together, and still cut it to a one possession game.

Got bailed out by a bad foul on the Miles Brown 3.

Perfect summation.

Is Hadaway a turnover machine when he attempts to pass? Miles Brown drains back to back threes, Bobcats get a stop and then unforced turnover by Hadaway stops the momentum and Miami goes up nine points in 90 seconds having been down three.

Official attendance 9,018. Sure felt like over ten there in number, if not in volume.

Hunter and Clayton sure did step up. Brown had some nice buckets too. Back to back rim rockers for The Wiz!

Always love beating Miami. Huge win in terms of MAC standings.

That was a great looking crowd on TV and a great win. I feel like this is the kind of win we needed to keep the momentum going and finish out the season strong.

I wish I had come down for the game. That would’ve been a fun one. 9k+ in the seats is great to see!

Great win in front of a Sibs Weekend crowd north of 10,000 (according to Russ). Ohio's t1% shooting from three is insane. MOFO hit less than 40% overall, thanks in large part to our D. Ohio won despite being outrebounded 34-31 and MFO hitting 16 of 18 at the line.

I imagine MOFO has already circled the March 8th rematch, so beating them at Millet won't be easy. Better have a tourney slot locked up before then.

looking at was was written here there,s clearly a way to cut down this amount. first one can park somewhere thats free and can walk down to the convo. second eating a good lunch at home and not eating out is another saver. and there could be a way to cut the ticket price down too. now were talking at most $70 for four. still costly but definetly doable.

Clayton is most certainly closer 6'10" than 6'8"

9,018 not off much from what I thought it looked like - I estimated 8,750...

Fiami only averaging just a tad over 1K per MAC game at home this year - pathetic...

I'm a season ticket holder that makes about half the games. Sometimes I sell them, sometimes I give them away, sometimes they just go unused.

I understand the mission but it's hard to envision a solution. How could the athletic dept possibly get the info of who is using their seats ahead of time? I often don't know if i am going or not until a couple hours prior.

About the only feasible action that could help the issue is to significantly increase season ticket prices and decrease single game ticket prices. Then more people would forego season tickets in favor of just buying ala carte. But I am pretty sure the athletic department isn't gonna sign up for that.
I'd love to see some raw data on (A) how many season ticket holders there are (B) where those are located and (C) how often they are used.
All of the seats in sections 1, 2, 3 and 4 except for visiting team fan seats behind their bench are season ticket holders. Those seats including required donation are $505 each. This may be the first or second year that all of those seats weren't sold.

Here's a link to the pricing information.

Still a good value for those lower seats for good D1 Bball in a great venue. I see many seats around me that I know are paid for but empty many games - including today. Why would you have season lower level seats and not attend a rivalry Fiami game, or at least make sure to get them into hands that will???? I have Never been to a Fiami game in the Convo that was not a good game - usually Great games. Boals mentioned in the post game show that he has been on coaching staff of many great rivalry games/series e.g. OSU/MI, Kron/Kan't etc - and he said that OHIO/Miami was the best of 'em....

Agree. Boals said maybe best crowd atmosphere since he has been coach here - I agree. But - not as loud as many Fiami games I have been to - prolly woulda ramped up if closer at end...

Season tickets are $160 for four. Great value if you plan to attend even just a few games. Until this year that also got you two women's season tickets.

There were people all the way up to the top on the section 203 side.

Who were the prospects in the house Boals mentioned in the post-game presser?

Crowd size looks tremendous. Russ estimating over 10K. If you're in the building, accurate?
9+ is the official ticket count. Felt like a legit 8 in the house. Good crowd, but also what should be the standard for a Saturday, not the exception.
