Players notice certain things..Treg may not know him personally but just looking at Phillips interactions with his players thats gotta be a huge relief for now.

Saw Treg tweet something along the lines of "I'm gonna text you soon little bro" to Crute around the time he would have met Saul. That's a good sign. Maybe Treg will be a good recruiter some day

I noticed that Stevie in the Post article mentioned that " a lot of the players" are on board.  I wish he would have said all the players are on board. I wonder how many players are gone.

I wouldn't read too much into that. Stevie can't speak for everyone and I'm betting that is just his read of the room during the meeting as being positive, plus talking with a few of his closer teammates after the meeting. We'll find out soon who these student athletes want to play for. I'm betting on Saul.

Frankly, I'm not real worried about that. I personally feel that it's a two way street and just like players make decisions about coaches they want to play for, coaches also make decisions about players that they want to play for them. Every coach has his own style and requirements for his players, so all the current players as well as the recruits may not fit his desires either. We owe it them to let them stay/come if they want, but there's no guarantees for sure. I've been thinking about it(not losing any sleep) ever since the change, so it was just a reminder to me.
