Actually Bobcat Love it's not. It's really not.

It's college basketball - it's not life and death. Grow up.

It sucks for the players, students, fans, but it's not the end of the world. And this doomsday stuff is ridiculous.

The coach left, Tariq isn't coming, maybe the other recruits aren't coming either. And maybe a bunch of current players are going to transfer - even the best ones.

Again, so what. It's college basketball.

They'll be a new coach and new players. And we'll cheer for them and support them just as hard.

And we'll win again...because we always do. It might take a year or two, maybe five. But we'll win again. We are OU.

I'm sorry, but Tony Campbell is gonna be a nice MAC player.  Real nice.  His is not ACC caliber, however.

Big picture you're of course correct.  Like I mentioned in another thread, my daughter has no clue about any of this (not a big sports fan like her father is) and is getting ready to have a fun Mom's weekend with her mother.  This news has absolutely no effect on her at all, and I really mean none, and if you walk around the campus today I'm sure life is normal.

For me personally YES THE SKY'S FALLING!!  As a really unfortunate Cleveland sports fan all my life the ONLY winning teams I have are Ohio's teams.  What the h*** am I going to do now?!?

Edit: sarcasm alert-the prior paragraph is in jest.  Ohio b-ball will be fine eventually.  There next year or two may be ugly but Ohio will recover; it always has like BLSOS says.

Good grief.  Nah....

The man behind the curtain is one Roderick J. McDavis.

I agree with the statement about McD.  However, if JS was to pack it up right now the timing would be just horrible.  BTW, my comment to BL was more sarcasm than anything.

Probably, no reason for Mo to stay.  And we will survive and thrive.

Are you sure? I was thinking it was Wu D'u Love, whose playing career was with the Destroyers.

Careful. Remember what happened to Colbert.

Yep ..... that would be correct. I really thought JC would take his staff with him. Shocked that he did not put them in the contract.

Are you with me Doctor Wu
Are you really just a shadow
Of the man that I once knew
She is lovely yes she's sly
And you're an ordinary guy
Has she finally got to you
Can you hear me Doctor

We don't know that he didn't put him into the deal and just left an option for him to take a head coaching job if offered.
Right?  That's how we ended up with Brian Knorr for football, who was set to accompany Grobe to Wake.  Bad example, perhaps.
