Watch out SBH, Ytown Bobcat won't be happy with where this thread's going! Speaking of which, what about the Over Hang (located at the former Greenery's), the thread of which which originally drew the ire of Ytown? The place looks nice although I never made it in there to eat.
Not great food, probably the worse on the list in this thread. One not mentioned is Sol.

Gotta disagree, BTC; too much time making Lauer signs cloud those taste buds?   It is bar food but I consider them to have the best burgers in town.
Sol is always a good choice with somewhat limited seating.

To each his own, but for my taste it's not a go to eatery in Athens.

Saw on Facebook today a new wine bar will be opening in the most recent Oak Room site hopefully by late September.  I hope it's as nice as this place we like to go to in Asheville:

IMO, the knock against TOS and Ohio was simply he didn't like Athens. Since most of us graduated from Ohio and love Athens, it's hard for people like us to swallow.
Exactly. I'm not the least bit surprised that he's still close to his players and would go to an event such as this. Would I expect to see him in Athens for anyhting that didn't involve his players here? Absolutely not.

I know that this will hurt my sterling reputation on this board, but I will have to agree with BTC twice in one thread.  My wife, who knows what she's talking about when it comes to food (if not shuttle buses), won't go back there after one meal there last fall. While I don't feel quite as negative about the place as she does, I'll have to say that it's not the best place in town.

Tim was a good guy, who didn't do a good job managing Jeremy Fears, a terrific talent who was a major reason Ohio wins the MAC title.  As I remember it, in the first home game of the following season, Fears threw up shots with no conscience in what appeared to me to be rebellion, and was gone soon afterwards.  O'Shea would have had another great year had he been able to manage Fears.
