He was talking about Chuck Connors. That's right - The Rifleman. Before he was an actor he played professional baseball for the Dodgers and basketball with the Celtics. Red said he went from being the worst shot in the East to the best shot in the West (as The Rifleman). Now that's funny.

Chuck Connor's other claim to fame is that he was the first NBA player to break a backboard.
