I would pretty much say don't hold your breath. then if it happens, hooray. But I would expect he sees the court not before 2015-16

Not really paid much attention to this board this summer but I see today that Kaminski has been officially added to the roster. Whatever happened to Chandler Thomas?

Thomas spent the summer on the west coast interning with Nike, he's on campus now and attending classes as far as I know.

Thomas spent the summer on the west coast interning with Nike, he's on campus now and attending classes as far as I know.
His Twitter would support he is on team.

Saw him at the Ohio vs Texas A&M volleyball game with most of the basketball team.

I don't think there is any question he is in school and practicing with the team. The question is when is he eligible? I assume it is for the coming season since there is no mention about sitting out in the Ohio official announcement.

I would love to know for sure.

Simmons is sitting this year out due to his transfer.

I don't think the addition of Kenny to the roster indicates that he'll be eligible this coming season. I think they are still awaiting word from the NCAA. Most folks don't think it's very likely.

No news yet on the eligibility form the NCAA. Saw several players and got a chance to talk to Chandler at length yesterday. He is very happy here. WOrking on his masters in COaching. Talked a little about their 3rd grade AAU team several now D1 players that won Nationals and the journey through HS and colleges and on to OHIO. Nice kid, can't wait to see what we bring to the COnvo ..he has heard stories. Really fits with ST and Treg.

TEam looks really tight as they move about together. Good personality fits across the board.

Let's bump this.

In yesterday's football at CMU, on their long drive to start the 3rd quarter CMU had a third and 10 at about our 45. They threw a screen pass which gained about 17. It was awesome to see how unprepared for that we were.

And, that, I'm afraid marked the end of the football season

and start of hoops season.





(Or you might prefer later in that same CMU drive their 3rd and about 10 from our 17 in which their running back had his way with us as he ran it in for six as the start of hoops season.)

Most of the volleyball games have a large number of the hoops guys show up and sit together. Wadley, Tony, Stevie, Treg, Chandler Thomas, and Drew Crabtree are just about always there. Sometimes others show, as well. And DJ Wingfield has been a ball boy the last couple of games.

I've seen players at football games, too, and I've seen players on Twitter note that they were going to hang out with the team. That's gotta be a good thing that the team is close.
