Probably the only set of circumstances where I would walk into the Convo with the opposing teams shirt on. I know for most of you this matchup is very forgettable, but for me this is a dream come true.

I love both of these programs and really follow Marietta very closely even to the point that I have a podcast completely devoted to the Ohio Athletic Conference. Hope both teams have a very successful season and it's a very weird strange feeling seeing the Navy Blue and White out on the court with the Bobcats. Hard to explain as I've always watched both teams for so long, but they're very separate in my mind.

GO PIONEERS!
GO CATS!

Gonna be a "short" night for Marietta, with no player taller than 6' 7"...

I hope it's forgettable although I'll never forget the night ('77) Mitch Miracle came in here and shot the lights out. Marietta lost by 2.

word on the street is we'll have a video feed for Saturday' game. I'm assuming that we'll have to endure the annual routine of patiently waiting through several games until the video operator(s) figure how to sync the audio, not place the camera off to one side where it gets obstructed by tubas, and etc. I cannot wait for ESPN to modernize our broadcasts, I hope we are part of the year 2 upgrade and aren't put off until years 3 or 4.

Buffalo played an exhibition game Thursday night, it wasn't on ESPN3 but it was broadcast through their own website. I would kill to have this quality in a game feed-

(you can see former Ohio commit and JUCO transfer Rodell Wigginton enter the game at the 4:40 mark, jersey #20.)

He wasn't shy. He took the second most shots on the team (2-10) in just 12 minutes.

Buffalo was only up 12 at the under 6 minute mark... Wasn't too impressed by what I saw other than a JC transfer, Raheem Johnson looked like he could battle down low. Wigginton had a couple drives where there were three defenders in his face. As it was mentioned before, it did not stop him from shooting it.

Let me just say, I hope our basketball games continue to be streamed via Ohio's athletic department... I am at the mercy of First Row Sports if they aren't.

Looks like the App State game is listed as video so, Phew! Keep it coming!!!

If someone fixes the video stream, I hope the camera is far enough away or at a weird enough angle to where it looks like the live broadcasts at Oklahoma State's Gallagher-Iba arena used to look like. It was so high you could actually look down into the basket. It sounds terrible, but that's one of my favorite arenas to watch a game for on TV.

OR - putting a camera in the middle of the floor up by the speakers in the middle of all the new banners. Just have it follow the ball at a wide angle. That would be mighty interesting.

Wadly getting the start?!

Arkley's article today says the starting 5 tommorrow is Bean, Stevie, Ryan Taylor, Mo, & Wadly.

First off the bench are Campbell, Setty, & Laster.

Maybe a motivator for Campbell? I keep thinking he's going to make a big leap in production this year.

Could be just an injury/conditioning precaution. Arkley mentioned that Tony still may have some lingering symptoms. Plus, we will need Wadly to be productive this year. Let's give him a test.

Is anyone else excited at the prospect that Wadley and Ryan Taylor are starting, even in an exhibition? We have proven commodities in Stevie, Bean and Mo with Treg a proven commodity off the bench. Tony will step up after he feels better. Saul must like Wadley and I know he went after Ryan Taylor as a priority after his hire. I truly hope that RT and Laster are "steals" in the late signing period. I just wish we had Jaaron and Kenny this year. If not, next year will be amazing with the talent he's assembling.

No Harley or Thomas today. Only 8 scholarship players. I hope that's not a trend.

A lot of 1 on 1 playing so far. Not a lot of guys moving without the ball. Cats need to pick it up.

What happened to all of the buzz surrounding Harley a few months ago? I know he's battling injuries, but is this guy going to be a factor this year? We really haven't heard too much about him recently.

Harley was just cleared to practice in a limited capacity this week. I wouldn't expect much from him for at least several weeks.

Was #24 snubbed by OU or something? Dude celebrates like he won the national championship every time he scores.

official announced attendance #?

was it really 11,108?

If so, that might be more than the other 3 MAC Exhibition games today, combined

Most MAC teams won't host a game with half that number in attendance this year.
