They were coming down one way or the other.
What is the reasoning? I know I'm getting old but they were almost new when I came to Athens.
They were falling apart.
He's right. Lots of crumbling. They're also unnecessary with no flooding and the removal of the old style New South buildings. All the same, I'll still miss them too.

Good riddance to all of New South. Lived in Martzolff my sophomore year. Though it was my favorite year socially, I hated being around those dumpy buildings, the crumbling, rusty catwalks, and generally living in a part of campus where no one except the occasional drum circle hung out.

Once you passed beyond the Front Four, it just felt really isolated and somewhat desolate. I enjoyed East Green much more.
