I did not miss John while he was gone.
Did you miss his unique grasp of the English language?
I mean, that's their all day long.

I have been as positive as can be throughout this year,
That s kind of funny ...really,

The next positive thing you say may be the first one I have seen......

Was in Indy today. Got back in time to watch Butler and did not really bother with OHIO for the first time since 2008.

Interesting that Butler players are also on their 3rd coach.

Pretty sure it is going to take some bodies changing in that locker room to reel this thing back in....

Said when the JC thing went down that this would set us back a few years. I got slammed on this board. That said I think 2 guys are key to whether we end up competitive this year or not and they are seniors and they are guards. They both need to step up and lead this parade.

Some interesting comparisons of the box score-

3 pointers:
BG- 8/21
OU- 8/22

Free throws:
BG- 9/11
OU- 8/11

Personal Fouls:
BG- 13
OU- 13

Steals:
BG- 5
OU- 5

Offensive rebounds:
BG- 11
OU- 10

The biggest disparities came from the following-

2 pointers:
BG- 18/38
OU- 11/35

Defensive rebounds:
BG- 30
OU- 24

Thanks for posting those stats. They are much different from what I thought that they would be. For instance, I thought that their 3pt shooting percentage was quite a bit better than ours. Just goes to show that sometimes our "impressions" are in the eye of the beholder and don't necessarily conform to the actual facts of a situation.

There are no "effort" or "desire" stats in the box score...........

you don't think rebounding is an effort/desire stat?

It can be but you can't just look at a stat line and determine if the problem was desire. We missed 7 more shots than they did and they had 6 more defensive rebounds. That in itself is pretty much as expected.

The night I watched them barely lose to Dayton at UD Arena pre suspension I think I wrote up here we were going to have a tough time with them.

Watched Dayton yesterday. They are looking tough with no one over 6'6

I'm sure as hell glad we don't have Ferris State on our schedule then! They'd stomp the crap outta us by 30!
