Looks like I'm just gonna watch UB/CMU online instead... Bummer. MAC feeds used to be free. Guess not anymore. All UB home games are on ESPN3.com (pretty sick setup, best in the MAC now for home games).
Is it safe to assume this is because of the ESPN agreement as well? Or is Balls just not getting a feed done?

Used to be MAC all-access was all MAC. Now it's all Kent. Sucks to high heaven.

I emailed JGuy about only carrying Kent and watchESPN games. If he replies I will post what he says.

bsu has a pay feed and they apparently don't want to share it free anywhere.

Good luck with getting that reply. I thought the way it was in prior years was outstanding.

Some guy on CardinalAttack.com is pitching a bitch right now wondering why teams always have their best shooting night against his team.

Winning feels good!

Stevie and Bean played great games on offense, and we assisted 20 times. The defense could be better in half one, but the second half was good.

We've said it before, but maybe this is a spring board game. Using the phrase..."I know this", it makes looking forward to Saturday's drive to A-town a lot more exciting.

Yum, I paid for the stream tonight and I'm glad I did. Bean and Stevie were absolutely locked in.

Crucial win. I loved the way our defense (particularly in the first half) attacked the ball handler with a double team. That forced several turnovers and made the passing lane a bit more busy. Sure, there were times when BSU was able to kick it out to a wide open shooter but I liked the aggressiveness - letting the guys play and make things happen is a positive.

But man, Stevie and Bean! That felt damn good to see those guys play out of their minds.

My only fear is what someone in the chat room said: "Live by the Bean; die by the Bean." This game kind of reminded me of the DePaul game Bean shot like a Harlem Globetrotter on steroids. He can't be on like that every game.

the lights-out shooting masked some bone headed plays all around that lead to turnovers and/or easy buckets for the Cardinals. Happy for the win but not ready to say our problems are behind us yet. We haven't won 2 in a row yet this year, let's beat UB on Saturday and then we'll start to see some real momentum.

On the flip side, I'm glad to see that Bean is capable of multiple scoring outbursts. If we're going to make any noise in March frankly we need career games like that from him.

I think he got that one from the Illini board.

Yup, bad turnovers and fouls aplenty. BSU also pounded us in the offensive reb category - they grabbed 12. They seemed to have several very long offensive possessions, which is no surprise when the biggest guy we have on the court at times is Wadly.

Did anyone else catch the BSU announcer's commentary on how light-weight our team is? They said something like we were tall and skinny, and only Tony had any weight. This kind of true, but if you are athletic enough that doesn't make that much difference, IMHO. This ain't football where you have to control the line of scrimmage. ;-)

yes - but it is sort of jarring to see Harley out there sometimes, I will admit.

I thought BSU's announcers were very solid. Definitely a better MAC crew.

It is not but we are painfully thin, Basgere came in and changed the mindset, Zach did a great job following that. Saul has a strength coach that will ramp this thing up Day 1 following the season. We need weight, strength and size . Got quite a lot of good frames to hang it on.

I could say that we finally got a win because I (based on history & superstition)... 1: Was not there, and/or... 2: Because I did not (could not) watch or listen - But I won't.

Good Win!
