Wow. Every phase of the Team's game has collapsed. Looks like they have never played together, ever!!!

Crabtree is in the game. Nice statement by Saul.

Why aren't the walkons in at this point? Maybe they'll at least try and look like they've attended a practice together once or twice.

There isn't a player on the floor (Bean and Mo included) that I'd feel comfortable giving crucial minutes to on a team that was anything but a bottom-feeder.

This team and season is what it is, and what it is is pathetic.

Direct TV 722, not worth watching though.

My Chromecast has crashed five times this afternoon trying to watch this game, and yet it is still giving a better performance than our team.

Unacceptable in every sense of the word.

Is it fair to say that this is not a well-coached team? There's little evidence to indicate otherwise.

The feed off Mac-sports is working pretty well for me.

The link finally showed up on my Apple TV.

Dear lord we are just not very good at all. We really look like a bunch of spare parts that are just thrown together. 3 coaches in 4 years have taken a toll on our once proud program. I just wonder what next year is going to look like? How long will this rebuild take? Is this program in danger of going the way of Miami? I pray it won't.

Feel free to reassure me that it won't!!! I am emotionally fragile right now! 😊
Next year will be better. Count on it. I've said it in other boards...the guys "NOT" playing this year for us would beat us. Kaminski, Simmons, Gavin Block, Dartis and Dozier would beat our starting 5. That five would struggle in the post but Tony will be back to help with that. We would also add Treg, Laster and Ryan Taylor to that group. On no planet should Harley and Laster be playing anything more than 5 minutes a game but they are forced to. Ryan Taylor, as solid as he's been, is not a MAC starter yet. We win the MAC next year, count it.

I am worried about this as well. I have belief in SaulBall but if it was a 100 when he was hired, I'm down to an approval rating of 55 now. He just doesn't seem to care. Even his anger seems fake and for our benefit.

I've been relatively quiet the whole year, but this is downright embarrassing.

I hope you are right about next year. There is just nothing on the court that shows any promise. We may not be a very good team but we surely don't look well coached.

Boy, we really competed to the end of that one. Charlie would be disappointed we didn't put up more fight.

So is it coaching or poor execution? Could not break a press by the fellow conference bottom feeder!

His coaching, the players or this season in general? Take your pick at this point IMO *shrugs*.

I agree with a previous poster about the guys sitting out this year. My gut tells me Campbell and Taylor are the only two guys from this team who will see any minutes next year (eh maybe Setty too)...and that's probably a good thing.

But man oh man, losing records due to lack of talent and pieces that don't fit I can deal with from a coach. But allowing guys to play who don't care, don't even try, don't look like they even know what the offensive plays are or where anyone else should be, can't dribble or pass well enough to break a simple trap and don't even attempt to FAKE playing defense or rebounding all speak to a lack of discipline/focus/leadership.

Combine that with the fact that HE (not just the players but the entire staff) literally GAVE UP down the stretch today. I can't deal with that. That's inexcusable even if you're playing with 8th graders against the Cavs.

That speaks to the desire/fire/competitiveness and even more the pride of the man.

I'm not saying Saul isn't good or going to be good. I'm saying what I'm seeing is unacceptable from him and one of his teams, and it's gone on long enough now with no significant changes that it has to at least give us pause to say "What the heck gives here?"

Completely disagree. Give Mo and Tony a player or two who can see the court and they are putting up huge numbers and getting the other team in foul trouble on a regular basis. They are both matchup nightmares. We are just too stooooopid to keep our eyes up when dribbling up the court. We should have had about 7 or 8 alley oop dunks to Tony today after beating the press but we just don't see the court (Mo was at fault here a couple of times to.) I thought Tony played a very good game even before he drained the threes. He was active and working hard.

The one bright spot (other than Tony) was seeing Crabtree get playing time when the game was on the line. I think Saul was sending a very clear message by putting him in and by not fouling at the end.

Maybe he just doesn't know what to do. He basically said as much after the CMU loss.

Miami was not "lenient" on their turtleneck promotion.

My Jim Christian yard-sale special got me no discount. Land at the window said it had to be red.

I told her "better dead than red"; she didn't get it.

Ted Thompson is a promoter of falsehoods.

The Fiami crowd was (surprisingly) larger than ours. But, we definitely beat them in snappy patter......Pete leading that charge.

the "Love and Honor" motto on Miami's court looks like bad clip art but I liked that they put "est. 1809" near the scorer's table, we should copy it.
