I just want an accurate weather forecast. Two days ago it was 6-9 inches of snow for Athens, and 3-5 for Columbus. Now it's 3-5 and the potential for freezing rain in Athens, and still 3-5 in Columbus. Either way, it's not looking pleasant.

Don't let a bit of snow and cold weather scare you away from a chance to see one of the better teams in the MAC come into the Convo ! I have not seen much of Cant State this year and am looking forward to seeing how good they are....or are not !
Bobcats will have to be at the top of their game to be competitive. Re-dedication of the Bobcat Hall of Fame is taking place this weekend so lots of famous Bobcats are expected back in the Convo for the festivities.
Hopefully Bobcats fans will rally and back the Cats! This team needs all the help we can give them as they will be up against one of the top 4 teams in the league. Kent is fighting for a top seed heading into the "Q", and we will get their best effort.

We,too,are watching the weather - are invited to the "Legacy Luncheon" of the College of Business @11:30 and the game afterwards. Our route is 77 to 7 to 32. Hoping it all works out. It's nice to be included in these events.

Take 77 to 50 down in Parkersburg. The bypass is now finished and it makes the drive much nicer.

They were until Hall and Thomas went down. They'll fade down the stretch.

Thanks for the good wishes and advice!!! ....but we just got a call - luncheon is cancelled.
Wonder if the women's team will make it to Akron for their 5:00 o'clock game Saturday? If so we can try to make that (30 minute drive for us)and we will plan to see the men play at Akron next Friday.

I've been advised (by a law enforcement officer no less) that I should pass on driving down from Columbus for this one, due to the weather. Said friend also said that if i felt dumb and decided to drive, I should be extra careful on the N'ville bypass, as it gets scary in snow/ice.

Guess I'll be watching this one over the net :(

We aren't driving in from Jackson. Level 2 emergencies in all surrounding counties. Too much risk of moving to Level 3s. Too much risk of sleet moving in on top of snow.

I hate missing a game. Seldom happens. Just a couple of games over the past 10 years.

Gonna watch on Time Warner.
