Odds JC has even one peice of Ohio gear in his closet?

0%
50%
100%
I'll go with 100%. I'm guessing he also has Kent gear and TCU gear as well.

So if Jeff Boals was our coach and OSU and his mentor was playing in the Final, how many of you would loose your cookies over this same question with a different logo?
the vast majority of coaches would say
You've researched this? ;)

Assuming he shares a closet with his wife, who is an alum, there's probably at least one OHIO piece in there.

One of the most ridiculous displays of self loathing occurred at a family wedding in Columbus a few years ago. The bride and groom, both Ohio graduates, had scarlet and grey wedding colors and had the DJ play "Sloopy" multiple times. After they had their first child, their Christmas card photo had them all decked out in OSU gear.

I get this is SPs mentor that is coaching at Whisky. However, I thought most on here thought you had to go to the school or work for the school to wear the colors. I don't think SP did either. Seems to me if you are being paid mid 6 figures the least you could be is a bit proud of the school paying you and limit yourself to their colors to show that pride. Especially if you are a head coach! Anybody see other coaches wearing colors other than who they coach for??

To calm the waters, Saul was at a tournament in VA recently in nothing but OU gear.

I would be shocked if we could not scare up pix of Wojo or Collins or similar wearing Duke colors in Indy. I would be very surprised if tOSU made it and Groce did not wear a shirt to the Final if he was in that section of seats. To be honest Sail was employed by Wisky for 3 years. Native son from Reedsburg WI and the state, unlike OHIO's multitude of D1 programs, has only a couple of schools for a kid to follow growing up... I think he represented OHIO well on Sirius and to those who saw him around town and in the Convention hall. Wearing a Wisky shirt the night of Finals did not IMHO demean OHIO or show a lack of pride.

As for your question, I see a lot of coaches wearing gear from places. Saul worked for Wisky. He represented us well and showed his former team, home state and coach one night of respect. In the Convention Hall and while representing OHIO on the Sirius XM radio he was wearing OHIO gear as he walked around https://twitter.com/PTNetherton/status/585084301995147264 a few more pix in OHIO gear out there on the net (Pssst...those are forever)

Wait a minute, he's just wearing a hat, right, that they probably handed to him? And at a UW rally somebody thinks he shouldn't put it on? And am I wrong or is the kid in front wearing the shirt backwards while the young lady is covering up with a scarf? I think these are dedicated Bobcats ladies and gentlemen. Anybody seen these kids decked out at the Convo? Criticism on this is ridiculous IMHO.

Sorry, wasn't aware he actually worked at Whisky. I suppose that gives him a pass.

He actually visited the Convo while on the Wisconsin staff back late in the Larry Hunter regime.

Plus, he graduated from Platteville which is in the UW system.

Again, I have no problem with this at all.

We once had an AD who had a Duke artifact (can't recall what it was) on his desk in the Convo. Now that's over the top.

Not really - that's where he went to school:
