BVP went to OU longer than I did, I hardly count him as someone who fled.

BVP pretty much maxxed out what he could do academically at Ohio. I do still have a small asterisk with him leaving Ohio, but it is extremely tiny.

Sears is the only burn, but I can't fault the decision to play for a dynamic coach at a major program in his home state. I fault the (alleged) lie he told our coaches.

VCU guy here. Last season, his brother, Kuany Kuany, was perhaps one of the most pleasant, joyful individuals we've had in our program in recent memory. If Kiir is anything like 2K, you'll love him.

2K, love the nickname. Maybe ours should just be the reverse, K2. I mean, he is supposedly 6'9", so naming him after a mountain seems appropriate.

Hopefully...Evans can contribute a few minutes when need be for the extra depth down low.

The early indications seem to be that we will roll with a forward lineup of Clayton and Hadaway, backed up by Seals and Nicol. If anyone else breaks into the mix, Evans would probably have the leg up on Kuany. Maybe Kuany dresses for games, but we didn't burn a redshirt for Nicol when we were down to only seven or eight healthy bodies last year, so I don't see Kuany playing this season.

I'll try to slow down my internal hype train, but I'm really excited to see him play. I hope he isn't a flight risk, though you never know. His brother played at CAL and then VCU, and his other brother played in JUCO for a couple seasons and then Eastern New Mexico so he definitely has a better inside look at that side than most players.
